hello gang i have finished my review for this bad boy + i got the Spazer as well
its going to be a long review
first the figure
as i said before the figure is huge but its on the light side, couple of parts kept falling off (specially the black armor part on top of the thighs) during my shooting due to the over use of magnets but its not as bad as you think if you know where and how to hold the figure
the internal mechanism is really cool not extremely detailed like the DX but its good enough, you can even take the back side armor to give the robot a completely naked look (yes i said naked)
what bothered me tho is that you need to buy other sets (spazer + drill and marine) to get the complete internal mechanism look spazer will give you the head (half and half if you buy the limited), drill and marine will give you the fists
what i like about the figure
size
the figure is about 25cm and it will fits perfectly with other combining SOC
cool LEDs
finally a Grendizer with decent LEDs in the eyes chest and horns, speaking of horns the figure comes with 3 type of horns, there is also LEDs on the double spazer boosters
sharp looks and sculpt
i think the face sculpt is one of the Grendizer faces ever
awesome paint specially the red
one of the best looking Grendizer ever
articulation
the figure have cool joints here and there to help with some dynamic poses
engineering
while taking the armor parts off, i notice the mid section armor (stomach area) have a spring on the top and on the bottom on both armor parts to help with some poses without the parts falling off
what i dont like about the figure
the batteries location
Grendizer have " head, chest, and arms" all need 3 batteries to be installed the most annoying one are the arms because of the screw crusher punch spikes you have to take them ALL off then you need to take the armor off in order to reach a very tiny place where you put the batteries, what make it even worst that some batteries compartment are surrounded by magnets so while trying to put the batteries the magnets will suck them along with your tiny screw driver

i think they made a mistake here by not including an extra arm for that, its just very annoying to try to do the screw crusher punch or to try to put the batteries
mine have a weak shoulder and elbow joints
the figure cant hold the double (or single) haraken the elbow will always gave up there is away tho, you need to move the arm from the bicep area in order to help the figure to hold the pose right
the over use of magnets
i noticed while photographing the figure, magnets, magnets everywhere im not saying its bad but they are doing it just like ET im not a huge fan of magnets unless if its a must with some figures but they just over used it
no neck joints ?
i need someone to conform this info for me, the head can move but the neck is fixed so it wont be able to look as good as it should in the Spazer
the double haraken
they are fine and cool BUT i wish if they used a diecast peg instead of the plastic one or at least a really thick plastic peg
lastly the double Spazer
its good but it could be waaaaay better than this specially the wings, i dont know how to explain this they are articulated and all but i dont feel they lining perfectly

i paid +$200 for mine i think its alot for what i got but right now its on sale and for way less than what i paid

the figure is kinda on the light side

you can play with this figure fine but be careful with some parts since this figure is made to look at mostly
competitors
lucky we have some cool Grendizer figures lately but none of them offers what this figure do, you have the SOC GX76 and if you can find it the Super robot chogokin anime version
engineering 6 out of 10
some parts needed to be diecast for better balance but over all its not bad
so my over all score is 7 out 10
if you are a hardcore Grendizer fan go for it its totally cool and worth it
this is it for the figure now lets talk about the Spazer
by light years the KA Spazer is the BEST Spazer in the market today
but Saud the GX76 is more accurate. its from the outside but did you see how sad it looks from the inside, also the paint is not a s vivid as i want it to be AND no diecast
Fewture Spazer is bigger, nope i have both and this bad boy is bigger
come on it cant be bigger than the CMs Spazer, well CMs Spazer is about 40cm from wing to wing this one is 47cm from wing to wing
Sentinel have some cool gimmick, please you will be an idiot if you even think about bringing theirs to this comparison
so after this introduction let me tell you why this is the BEST Spazer in the Market
first the LEDs, inside the Spazer, the tiny circles on the bottom and on the boosters EXACTLY what it should be
its one of the biggest if not the biggest modern Spazer in the market today and its heavy as well
other than the LEDs and the size it have some really amazing details under the red paint, not to mention the details on the Spazer it self
another epic gimmick is that you can press on button above the cockpit and Duke Fleed will appear or disappear how awesome and legendary is that ? and its not a sad tiny figure it have some really decent details on it, on something this small i gotta give it to KA, you can also press on the wings and the fins (tiny wings) will pop out from the side
my personal favorite thing about this Spazer is that it have some really nice details from the inside and they just over kill it with the LEDs
the Spazer is also solid while taking parts off to combine with Grendizer i didnt feel its flimsy or parts are shaking it was as a rock
combining with Grendizer it gives a decent look but sadly i couldn't get Grendizer to rise his head a tiny bit more due to the neck joint
what i dont like about this Spazer
NOTHING i couldn't find any thing that i hate about it, its a PERFECT 10 Spazer (maybe the price ? but i feel i got what i paid for)
so the Spazer is a MUST for every Grendizer fan EVEN if you dont want to get their Grendizer it can be a display piece of its own, its absolutely epic, i honestly think its the spiritual successor for the GX04 Spazer when they did something out of nothing, the tech right now is insane comparing to 20 years ago
in matter of fact its so perfect i know for sure now why Bandai delayed the DX, and i cant wait to see how they are going to beat this Spazer
and thats about it, sorry for the long review i just wanted to make it extra clear for people who are still thinking about this release, and the way i see it there is a demand on KA stuff recently some of our recent threads and FB groups are talking about it
lastly im not sure if i should get the Drill & the Marine Spazers since i didnt plan to get them in the first place and im extremely happy with what i got
