Konich-wan, British Cyborg enthusiasts! (I mean fans of British Cyborg, not exclusively British fans.) I just got given a scanner, and what better way to test it out than scanning my British Cyborg leaflet? Enjoy, folks, and download and print off so you don’t have to get your own. I don’t have any boxes for my British Cyborg figures, which is a shame because they have lovely comic strip stories on the back. Boxed figures fetch a ridiculous price, and someone recently has been bootlegging them. Presumably they took a precious original box apart, then scanned it and printed it onto card to construct a repro box. This is all very entrepreneurial, and I approve of making these rare and beautiful boxes available, but I must say that the asking price of £30 each is a little steep, if not downright opportunistic. Of course, if I had these boxes I would scan what I could without dismantling them and post them here for all to enjoy and download. Recently, however, I downloaded these photos from Ebay and I am driven by my own generosity to share them with you all. The Android one is even legible!

Well, it was legible before I posted it! Something about the complex picture posting procedure has mucked them up! Please contact me via personal messages if you want these badly.

Question
is the main image of muton on the leaflet a photo or artwork? If its a photo it seems to actually be king walder proper as its got the larger lower leg sections unlike shonen cyborg/walder jr type lower leg.

I’m glad you asked that question, CBC. It’s a photo and the same one appears on the front of the box. I always assumed it was a prototype as the head looks a bit different from Muton’s, but I had never noticed the wider thighs, which could well mean he is a KW. For all three British figures, the photos on the boxes differ slightly from the figure you get. Note that Cyborg in the photo has Shonen Cyborg’s chest engine (with the red hexagons); the figure you actually get has a scaled down version of Henshin Cyborg’s. The pictures of Cyborg in the comic strips also show the red hexagons, even in the strip on Android’s box, which came out a year after Cyborg. Android himself has a different chest engine in all the box photos; it is the one that belongs to Japanese Super A or Chojin, whereas you actually get the one that belongs to Android Ace, modified to accommodate the missiles.

I know a guy selling them, but I'm reluctant to put people's email addresses up for public grabs here. If you join up, Neil, I'll send you his email via personal message. They are £30 each, though!
