This is a question I have been curious to know. Since Hippie has helped breath new life into this thread. I hope I can come up with a cool picture like him! ; Anyway my favorite for manueverability would have to be the 99 line. With the magnetic ports in back and arms, it makes it the most compatible with the larger microman line.

The 99s are the best articulated and it’s fun to give them Hindu style multiple arms or stick their arms on a Jeeg or Karza. I think the Neos have a better look. KW2 “Evil” had a great head; it’s a shame they never released him. They did the head on it’s own in very limited numbers. I always thought Cyborg should have been bald, instead of having the moulded hairpiece, so I like the PPFMs and I wish I had one, despite their black feet. For me, the vintage figures have a certain mystique just for being vintage. And any figures I don’t own have a mystique because I don’t own them. So it’s hard to forget these factors and look at them without bias. For sentimental reasons, Muton and Android from the British line have always meant the most to me, because they were my favourites when I was a kid. Baron Karza was the only other toy that came close. Android has a more graceful look, because he is adult proportioned (Cyborg and Muton are based on Shonen Cyborg’s child-proportioned body, with short legs). Android is also very delicate and intricate with his chest doors and firing mechanism. Am I right in thinking that none of the Takara Androids could actually fire their missiles? Android is also the hardest to find of the UK line, although that shouldn’t influence my choice. Of the Japanese line, I like Chojin or Super A, British Android’s counterpart. I wish I owned one; one day I will. I love the machinery breaking through the transparent plastic. Spymagician has both the British and Japanese versions of this figure, and he tells me that the moulding is superior on the Japanese one. The other two Japanese Androids seem to be easier to find; I assume that they were released in equal numbers and Chojin is more popular. They shouldn’t have painted the eyes on Android Ace; it looks wrong. So, I would go for the two Androids as my favourites. When I own them both, I’ll be able to express a preference between them.

I'm not sure which is my favourite, but by far the funniest one is the Neo Cyborg with the Giraffe helmet! Man I want one. The giraffe gun is funny, too, but not as funny as the helmet. My favourite might be my blue99 figure which is lost in the mail! I love the KWIIs. The Yellow Neo is funky and well dressed. Well, they'rea ll good. I'm not crazy about the shonen ones which I think look silly, nor the original cyborgs which look a little goofy. i like the original walders though. The goofy bodies suit their alien nature. Here's my dadaist walder star trek episode. "Put the chicken head down, a**hole!" "Chicken heads anyone? Eat faux leopard skin, bambaclat" "I feel, strangeley, refreshed! I'm a rock star! By the power of Grayskul!!!"

Now THIS is what I hang out on this website for. Excellent! I'm not sure just where the Dokuro King is about to put that chicken head in the second picture, but it Kirk doesn't seem to mind! If only Star Trek: the Next Generation dared to go so boldly...
