Hi
I've been out of this for a while due to work and illness. So, I am trying to do a custom paint job for my son's Gaiking. I am almost done but had to paint all the limbs separtely. My question is what is the best way to reattach the arms and legs to the torso? Should I heat the torso openings or the limbs to put them back? Also, would putting a temporary barrier (ie: tape around the opening an effective way to minimize any rub that might occur during reattachment?
Any help would be appreciated.
J

Hi sorry I havent been around recently to answer you.
To reattach, apply low heat via something like a hair dryer. be careful not too hot or it will warp. just enough to soften and then gently fit it back.
that said, if it is loose enough, you dont even need to heat it.
u can try tape too but not too much as if its too tight, it may rip at the seams where its joint.

Agreed, heat.
You can use warm water too.
