Hi everyone, after a lot of scrimping and saving I managed to finally get a complete and in good condition Godaikin Voltes V. It was all I dreamed of, and when it got here (in relatively short time, too!) I was ecstatic.
Unfortunately, this good fortune was dampened when one of the arms (the brittle blue plastic) broke free from the Volt Bomber's elbow joint. The arm itself is relatively intact, but the integral part (that is to say, the part that attaches to the red elbow joint) is sheared right through, with half of it still attached to the red elbow.
Is there any way I can repair this, probably with superglue/cement? Or should I just get a new Voltes Bomber and cannibalize that for parts? It's a shame because the Voltes Bomber itself is in absolutely mint condition besides the broken arm. If not, is there anyone selling just the lower right arm of a DX Voltes V?
Thanks in advance for any replies.

Did you try to bend the arm back at the elbow? The arm only has 90 degrees of forward movement at the elbow joint. It's common to see the small area that touches the elbow when the arm is straight chipped off.

Oh, no, I didn't break the arm off, it arrived already snapped off. I suppose this is due to the brittle blue plastic. I'm not too broken up about it as the rest of the toy IS pretty darn mint and solid. I bought it from Steven Agin and he sold it to me at a very affordable price, and in very amicable terms. He shipped it to me intact and well-packed, I believe it was our lousy mail service's handling of the package that was responsible for the break. In any case I've done what I could with superglue and it seems to be holding alright, I'm probably not going to touch the arm again or move it at the elbow, ahaha. But besides that, yes, if anyone can help me source a lower right arm that'd be great! Or even a junker Voltes Bomber!
