Hi all, It looks like Takara has breathed life into an old concept which they originated! Taking on the cyborg with costumes idea, they adapted it for their new Microman line! Better yet, they brought into play an old and revered japanese icon: Godzilla! Check out this link: toynewsi.com/news.php?catid=184&itemid=4868Cheers, Garvy

They look cool, but one has to question, particularly in the case of Ghidora, where a costume ceases to be a costume and becomes a vinyl figure that you can put a Microman inside.

Yup, I see your point. You're right. In the case of the non-humanoid monsters, it is just a Microman put inside a vinyl casing. I guess Takara thought it would be a good idea to pack in an actual Microman as opposed to a blank Microman figure, but the concept is interesting to me nonetheless.
It would be cool to see a Mazinger Z costume and a Koji Kabuto-themed Microman! I can always hope, can't I?
Cheers,
Garvy

I wonder how poseable the kaiju are with the figures inside. Some of the vintage Henshin Cyborg deluxe costumes look like they might stand up on their own in a similar way.
