Most impressive of all is that you obtained a complete initial release version with the Type 1 drivers, which we so rarely see around.

It brings back that fond memory from so many years ago of my father lifting the great robot base from his suitcase!!!!!!! Though I honestly prefer the type 2 drivers. That was the version I got!
Of the large diaclone bases, I managed to get the Fortress Robot X too when I was a kid. The only one I think I missed was the one shaped like a bird. Does anyone have that? Please post pics!
Unfortunately, all my diaclone toys were disposed of in garage sales! I still shudder when I think of how much that "lost" collection would cost today!!!!!
