These are some pictures that I got off the net before I had my own computer, so I only had printed copies. Now that I have a scanner I have scanned them just to post them here. Apologies for the quality; the printer I had access to at work was a pointillistic technical drawing plotter, not really meant for colour photo printing. First we have the picture I mentioned to Johnnyhaggis, with Walder Monster costumes made, presumably, from cut up vinyl figures. This was long before the recent Kaijin reissue or even the KW Juniors. The green KW2 body is the point of interest here, as no such coloured figure exists, to my knowledge. These weird Walders are something I’d like to know more about. They were on the “Cyborg Station on the Net” site. I pestered my Japanese contact about these and he reckoned they were customs, not something he could acquire for me. It’s a shame because they’re fantastic, in my opinion. The head sculpts are all different and the bodies and limbs are wonderfully asymmetrical. The names are taken from a song by King Crimson.

i think the green walder II will have been dismantled and painted from the inside, probably using a clear cyborg version, not sure on the paint though.

I saw a guy's site where he had use Tamiya transparent paints to customize a Neo. I just assumed this was a Takara one-off, partly because there were the two KW2s they never released. But you'r probably right; these are probably someone's home made customs. Those figures in the background look like Neos with vinyl Invader parts. What do you think of the blobby Walders?
