The hand of the LORD was upon me, and he brought me out by the Spirit of the LORD and set me in the middle of a valley; it was full of bones. He led me back and forth among them, and I saw a great many bones on the floor of the valley, bones that were very dry. He asked me, "Son of man, can these bones live?" I said, "O Sovereign LORD, you alone know." Then he said to me, "Prophesy to these bones and say to them, 'Dry bones, hear the word of the LORD! This is what the Sovereign LORD says to these bones: I will make breath enter you, and you will come to life. I will attach tendons to you and make flesh come upon you and cover you with skin; I will put breath in you, and you will come to life. Then you will know that I am the LORD.' " So I prophesied as I was commanded. And as I was prophesying, there was a noise, a rattling sound, and the bones came together, bone to bone. I looked, and tendons and flesh appeared on them and skin covered them, but there was no breath in them. Then he said to me, "Prophesy to the breath; prophesy, son of man, and say to it, 'This is what the Sovereign LORD says: Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe into these slain, that they may live.' " So I prophesied as he commanded me, and breath entered them; they came to life and stood up on their feet-a vast army. Then he said to me: "Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel. They say, 'Our bones are dried up and our hope is gone; we are cut off.' Therefore prophesy and say to them: 'This is what the Sovereign LORD says: O my people, I am going to open your graves and bring you up from them; I will bring you back to the land of Israel. Then you, my people, will know that I am the LORD , when I open your graves and bring you up from them. I will put my Spirit in you and you will live, and I will settle you in your own land. Then you will know that I the LORD have spoken, and I have done it, declares the LORD.' "

Don't know if I could teach that one with illustrations in Sunday School Hippy. ;D Which minor prophet book was that from? I want to say Isaiah but I may be wrong. You have more guts than me to show my chest hair on the internet! Great work!

It's from Ezekiel chapter 37. You must know the song "Ezekiel connected dem dry bones". No problem with the chest hair, but I was a bit self conscious about displaying my nipples to the world.

Oy gevalt! I'm going to have nightmares! Genius! Do you have glowing eyes and a cranium that emits radiation like that in real life? I hope you don't actually have that many dokoro kings! No wonder it took so long to do. Genius I say.

Thanks for the encouragement, guys! The Luminous afro idea came from Cedar; see the "my beautiful self portrait" thread on the general board. Of course I don't have that many Dokuro Kings, Johnny! Look closely; the same ones are repeated many times. This saved me time because you have to cut the figures out, so I cut each one out and then copied it several times. If each was in a unique pose, then I would have had to cut every damn one out! I used the Photoshop Elements software that I got free with my digital camera. It has proved to be as much fun as the camera itself. I had some guidance from my good friend Arch Stanton, who is well versed in this kind of thing. He has more elborate versions of Photoshop, but from what I saw my Elements version has everything I need. Coming sooner or later..... Microtopia!

Interesting interpretation there...whats next eh? Maybe Mazingers woman in a Songs of Solomon verse or two...or perhaps the tower of babel where Diaclone goes one way and Transformers another? Dude why not do some Koranic verses...if you dare You could then change your name to `Rushdyator' How about the Bards `Titus' starring Boss Borot What about Henshins reworking some Oscar Wilde- they're already naked LOL

Hi, Alex! Some great ideas, but I wanted to get back to writing my own stuff. A few people pointed out that the Bible has already been done with Lego; if I were to revisit it I'd probably do some of Revelations; it's by far the most exciting stuff I've read (I haven't read it all, no). But the whole idea was to be a bit risque and see how far I can push sensibilities. I was half-hoping for some shocked, indignant replies. It was interesting but constraintive to take an already written story and fit pictures to it. It allowed me to focus on photoshopping. Now it's time to do something different. My next story is already half-scripted, but I must finish my Polar Lights Rodan kit before I take any photos. I have quite a few ideas in the pipeline; some are better formed than others, and all will be scripted by me rather than plagiarised. There will probably be less photoshopping. But you or anyone else could have a go at some of these other ideas.....

Well...while we're on the Israel theme might as well have a look at some enigmatic uses for Israel + the Star of David in the Sth Korean robo realms. 1) `Joseph The Charge of God'. Quite possibly the most weird old robo ever released in Korea and maybe the world! Stands about 13inches tall with an optical illusion for a chest and an F-16 for legs...also doubles as a money box? 2) The model kit from late 1980's of some kind of robotic policeman- I think its called Cyber Cop or Future Police...anyway, depicted standing in front of the Twin towers surrounded with the Star of David- very odd? 3) This little film... jmpark.zio.to/Better call out the Knights Templar or dig up old Kolchak `The Night Stalker' to figure out what's going on ******************************************* Well, okay...the fact is that symbols here are thrown around everywhere as pretty decoration. Symbolism that some take very seriously ends up being printed on tissues in Asia- but of course, one cannot stick knives into Korean Soil in a bid to `kill the Soul of Korea' as its against the law and carries a prison term

That little film... I particularly like the moment where his codpiece adjusts itself slightly as part of the transformation. Blink and you'll miss it.
Do you have pics of these other toys to which you refer? They sound intriguing.
I'm slightly reminded of Philip Jose Farmer's "Jesus on Mars" wherein the messiah is discovered leading a colony of ancient Hebrews, you guessed it, on Mars. Not his best but worth a read.
I was once told by an evangelical fundementalist that whilst he had nothing against the Jews or their faith, the six pointed star is as potent an occult symbol as the pentagram. A warlock will stand inside a pentagram and summon a demon forth from a hexagram. What utter twaddle some people spout.
Are you allowed to use a spade?
