So the limited edition is because of the addition of the plane mode stand? I wonder if there will be a regular issue later with just the main box components??

Knowing Bandai and their habits, they will release another vf-1j later that will not come with the extra flight stand . But which vf-1j will be the main question. They might just skip the stand alone Valk and release one with missiles already included for a higher msrp. Or maybe combo fast pack ver, or GBP combo ver. |

Tried the "special stand" that made this DX-1J release a "Limited Edition".
Other than the tampo printing, it ain't special at all.
At least in functionality.
In fact, it's really kinda stupid. Not really sure why it's even a separate part other than maybe to make the box-packaging equal to the DX-YF19 box size to charge more shipping fees.
There are grooves for specific positioning ("A" =bank right, "B"= neutral/non-bank, "C"= bank left) on the adaptor-piece.
You have to always remove and reconnect to the arm-piece to do specific banking or non-banking display.
And that's about it.
Try not to get tempted to bank the DX while the adaptor is already connected/engaged with the arm.
It's not articulated like the old simple Yamato mighty-block stands or the recent Arcadia simple clear stands.

Got mine today and really like it. But...I think I am still a HMR fan. I like how solid/detailed this big one is, but the HMRs are just fun to pose and mess around with...

Ugh...I may have to go through Amazon Jp or some other vendor like NY as YesAsia canned my P0. So far, all the options on Amazon Jp do not ship to my location...which is odd since I'm checking off the international shipping filter. |

There are two identical white pieces in the box that I am not sure what they are for. The instructions are not clear on what they are for. What do you use them for? I might be missing something obvious! LOL

Just keep checking from time to time , they seem to only allow a certain amount at a time for international. The way I check it is first log in, then search for the dx chogokin vf-1 , click on the Vf-1, and look on the right side of the page . It will tell me the estimate delivery date if they have ones that will ship internationally. |
