Sold out easily....CD japan took atleast a good hour, Nippon had a 2nd run but the price was like 22K from 15K yen.
AmiAmi, sold out quick as well, even AE, hobby search, never seen the light of it...lol

Yea, both Amiami and NY's servers were crashing. Had it in the cart at both stores and never was able to check out and poof it was gone. If only Amazon JP was consistent with shipping overseas then I would bypass the madness.

Yeah bud..ill wait..especially PO price was like 16 to 18k yen...maybe on the actual release dates or near release..people might drop their POs..that first PO limited stand is freaking nice though..goodluck..if theres anything will post it here..

Nice thIng about these valkyries is at least, if they are good, there are bound to be variant releases. Maybe that doesn’t assure the completionists, but I spent a lot of time debating whether to wait for the VF-1S which I’m sure is coming.  I have some hi-metal R and can’t collect squadrons in two model scales! Edit: Also glad that they didn’t start us with the VF-1A (back with the V1 Yamato’s, I think that was the case?) |

Take note this is a limited « press release »... Maybe it will be soon on preorder for a regular release. Ya NY crashed and amiami was slow as hell : I wanted to order 1 for a friend and it was sold out while I was waiting to log to my account after having 1 in cart. « Sorry but this item is no longer in stock »... Thanks to cdjapan to having enough stock for that. I got mine also via AE. I so waited a good VF-1J... I skipped all brands since the 2 old model kits I have. Exciting... The 1/48 scale is a good choice to have the adapted engineering. Also, check the different hands in set |

Considering Arcadia charges almost $400 for the "Premium Ver" which just adds some extra tampo details... DX Chogokin is always nicely detailed, and for under $300, still worth it. Hikaru's VF-1J will undoubtedly be in high demand and go up in value way beyond $300. |
