My first post, and wanted to give an account of a sad story....
==================================================
I scored a Popy Golion off of ebay. It was being sent from Japan to the US.
I paid my money, and kept monitoring the EMS (Japan Post) tracking # entered by the seller....
One day goes by... no update... (I'm thinking okay, it's not unusual for it to take a few days)
Day 2 goes by, no update (still cool)
Day 3... Day 4.. (I start to worry a little)
On Day 5... I get this message from the seller:
"HI XXXX
A report came from a shipping company in Japan today. I am confirmed the product to the shipping company. sold to Mr. XXXX.
I have traded on eBay for ten years, but the accident being shipped is the first time and I am really in trouble.
I 'm suggesting one. Although the box is out of stock, if there is a product sticking to the photo, there is stock. If this product is okay, we will also discount, so please consider.
Also Cancel once?
In case of cancellation we will refund immediately."
I took a look at the pics.. my heart sank, and I asked for the refund. To the seller's credit - he refunded me within 20 mins of my request. A class act.
You'll have to excuse the English, but that's the actual text. The important thing to note was the the original box was destroyed (outer cover, inner cover and the foam tray) and the Popy Golion was severely damaged....

What is even more sad:
1) It was an early run GoLion with full chrome green/red lion joints.
2) It had the red popy c sticker
3) It had the full box, with most of the weapons (including the rare red popy launchers)
4) It was supposed to be MINE!!!
The Box was fully destroyed, and the other parts looked worst for the wear. I'm not sure what happened, but something must have crushed that box....
Anyhow, wanted to share this loss... these are so rare, I'm sad having any part in having a good example being destroyed...
