Trouble connecting Combattler V Battle Tank and Crasher?

No matter what I do I can't seem to shove both front white tabs into the slots they're supposed to go.

Is there any secret to this or do you just have to force it?

Check that the magnets and metal block that it attaches to are not out of place so that it keeps the Battle Clasher from sliding in all the way. You definitely don't want to force it... are the white tabs lined up correctly?

Yes they were lined up correctly. I did manage it at the end though, thanks!
