Am totally agreed with you, plus KA grendizer witch sadly I don’t have it 😢 be like more bro, i went ahead and bought KA Grendizer and im hunting the Spazer down
im not waiting for Bandai the figure is decent i deiced i will get it over this Riobot
to be honest Riobot didnt feel like Grenidzer, the paint the sculpt and the dimensions are just wrong it feels like a KO more than an original product, i like the spazer trick tho but its not enough for m to buy it

Mmm , actually you right about not whiting for Bandai Dx cause it’s looks like it’s will take a very long time for them now to make it which is really bother me
you know im glad they delayed it so i can get the KA  you should do the same bro the figure is good KA Grendy does have an amazing head sculpt.... Just beautiful. The best ive seen.

Come on now! Its a Riobot, the line famous for stylization and articulation!
also extremely ugly (this Grendizer figure)
the head is way to small, the eyes are tiny looks like most of the new cross overs cars the, colors are not vivid
same with their new Shin Mazinger its just not there
the best looking Riobot is Shin Getter 1 but with the waist problem it lose alot of points
at the end this is my opinion for those who have it and love im happy for them
for me KA is the better figure overall

Yes, there is even a ET version, king arts, but this is the riobot thread, so I posted the riobot one. Its overpriced as almost everything sentinel does, but is also unique and great (none of those has a transforming spacer)  |

Start watching Grendizer U, and got me to mess with my Riobot Grendizer. Even though I have owned this thing for a few years, I rarely bothered with the Spazer's big arm gimmick, and just display the Spazer as a backdrop of Grendizer, as I like Riobot's robot form more (given a little bit short when standing next to the Metal Build Mazinger brothers). But decided, what the heck, might as well at least combine it with Grendizer. Dang....I had no idea his 'final form' supposed to look this good in person! Not only did the Spazer hide some of the visual flaws on Grendizer's body (a bit short, and not a lot of depth on the body panels when compare to MBs) the form, the way Grendizer sits in it, the really nice flat profile of the Spazer, and all the details on the Spazer with real panel separations (not just shallow sculpted lines). I never realized this figure could look this awesome! (even though I have seen pictures and reviews back then). Its like a late revelation to me LOL, and so glad I bought this version with the Spazer. SPAZER CROSS!      |

So a few years back I got a good deal on the Riobot Grendizer figure ( I believe I paid $175 USD) but it was just the robot without the spazer. Do they even sell the spazer separately? I’ve never seen it sold without Grendy. Most other Grendizer figures usually sell them separately but I’ve had no luck with this one.

Unfortunately no, Riobot Spazer doesn't sold separately, has to go with the Grendy as a set, which is quite hard to find without markup nowadays. The Spazer does come apart into a few pieces, so it doesn't feel as solid as the old SOC or other brands where the Spazer is one solid piece of plastic. Due to it being a few pieces connected with some tabs, it kind of feel like some Transformers where you are tabbing a few panels and parts together to form a car, and needs some fudging to get everything lineup and tabbed in correctly. It does have some diecast though, mainly the articulated arms on the big shoulders and the spine that Grendizer connects to. With Grendizer and Spazer combined, the whole thing weighs about 610g, which is decently good heft. |
