I suggest trying greattoysonline.com They’re supposed to be a reputable pinoy distributor I originally went with GreatToysOnline.com for my preorder of the Icarus 40" Voltes V. On their order page, they have a shipping estimate calculator. However, once I placed my preorder, I received an email from them stating that the shipping had to be recalculated once the item would arrive in hand. The original shipping estimate from the calculator quoted me for around $31 for shipping. When the product finally arrived in stock, they recalculated the shipping to be $365!! I was not happy with the recalculation and did not want to proceed with the order. The toy itself was $705 and shipping would have been $365. They did cancel my preorder and refunded my Paypal payment back to me. This preorder experience wasn't the best, but perhaps if their shipping costs were calculated accurately and upfront, I would actually be cool with ordering all my Voltes V products from them. FYI, I ended up buying direct from Icarus from their main distributor toysrepublic.com. I ordered the Icarus Voltes V for $650 with free shipping from Hong Kong to California. I've never purchased anything from Toys Republic and even posted a thread asking if any RJ members have experience with them. I will post my experience after I receive my Icarus Voltes V with them. Where do you order these? I'm really interested if they do a yellow elbow joint version. As for the Maize Japan Voltes V, I preordered with BBTS. I guess I got the final preorder slot because the preorder is officially sold out now there. |

Shipping of $300+ is unfortunately reasonable given shipping for my DX Combattler was $130 and it’s barely a quarter of the size of the Icarus Voltes! I know shipping from HK is just as pricey if not more compared to Japan. Kind of blows my mind someone would have free shipping for such a large and expensive item. Make sure you have measures in place to protect yourself financially especially when buying from untested source. Having said that, both Voltes looks phenomenal and distinct from each other. Can’t wait to see comparison shots ! |

Were you referring to 100cm Combattler or the Maize Voltes V? Not sure if the 100cm Combattler is out just yet. (GreatToysOnline would have posted a YouTube unboxing video of it by now if it was realy out.) I do know collectors in Asia already have the Maize Voltes in hand from what I've seen on a few Instagram accounts. It's been a Voltes V toy renaissance as of late! Exciting times up ahead! |

This seems to have been out in Asia since March. Don't know what is taking so long for it to arrive at BBTS. Just take my remaining $719.99 already. Want this badly!

I was told they (Maize) were just making sure to take care of their local pre-orders first. I expect to be getting one soon so hopefully that means that they're making their way. If the Mazinger Z is any indicator, I'm sure it'll be well worth the wait.

Got mine 2 days ago from Maize, it’s a beautiful piece. Knew it was a must have after the Mazinger. Now waiting for Daltanious (2019) and mach baron(2019-2020).

My order is currently processing and will be shipping shortly! Phew!! 3 big Voltes V purchases this year so far. Icarus, M3 Studios, and now Maize. A brutal but worthy hat trick on the bank account. |

The Mazinger and voltes are pretty amazing. Great details, quality build,nice features and fantastic use of materials.
Well worth it IMO.
