Yes, I know you've all got them, but I had to post this anyway. Here are my reissue silver Henshin Cyborg and green and red King Walders. Don’t they look lovely grouped together? Like a miniature rainbow. Here is reissue silver HC (left) next to my vintage gold one. It doesn’t show so well in the photo, but the transparent plastic is totally different. Apart from the vintage one looking seriously yellowed in comparison, the reissue is slightly frosty and looks whiter, a bit like ice, whereas the vintage one would be more like glass. When you move the joints you can tell the difference. The reissue has more friction so the joints are harder to move and tend to make a clicking noise. The vintage has a slight cut-away on the forearm where it meets the inside of the elbow joint, to allow it to bend further. The reissue has no cut away but somehow it bends as far. The vintage head is very loose and falls off easily, whereas the reissue is so tight I don’t dare attempt to remove it, after the palaver I had getting the heads on my KWJrs. It doesn’t even swivel. Here they are again with reissue Shonen Cyborg (left) and vintage British Cyborg. You can see the blue tint to Shonen’s transparent plastic. It feels the same as the plastic on both vintage figures, however, and I think it’s a shame that they used what appears to be a cheaper plastic on the 12” reissues. It’s still better than shelling out hundreds for a vintage, though.

Excellent! I don't have these figures and I'm sure many people here don't. My walders are in the mail though. I think everyone here is always happy to see photos. WHen I have time I must showcase my ken doll outfit fro cyborg99 and my hannukah neo-henshin microman display.

"hannukah neo-henshin microman display" - does this have a Hanukkah theme or is it just what you got at Hanukkah?

Here's a crappy picture. When I borrow a good camera I'll make proper ones of the cyborgs and walders snooping around my house, eating my food and making a mess. Actually I completely convinced my daughter Sadie that toys move at night so that one day, when her room was a mess and her mom was scolding her, Sadie burst out into tears crying "I cleaned it I swear mama, but the dollies just all moved when I was sleeping and made a mess!!" I think she really believed it! THis is on top of the fridge. It's probably sacreligious to have pharaonic chambers in a jewish display hthe pharoahs having enslaved the jews for 400 years, but damn it's cool! Now here's my Ken Doll pirate suit. I need to take a picture of his suavez boots. Speaking of sacrilege, don't ask me why I bought these nazi uniforms for my cyborgs. "Gezuntheit! Ich bin unterliuetennandt Heinrich Schkroteligger!" "zeig heil, der geschtrumphentuchusmeisterbergen!"

By the way - your shonen cyborg appears to be the gold version (the replica one) - are all the shonens blue tinted like that? In most of the pictures I've seen they seem clear. Is the blue tint maybe more visible in your photo than in real life?

great shots from all. Hypno you can remove cyborg heads with a bit of a twist, once they are off they fit on what i'd say is the intended way, i think they are fitted on extra hard at the factory with the rubber neck really stretched over the plastic neck. They are way easier to fit than walder jr, i actually cut the back of the head so i can pop it on/off with ease. I still think that walder reissues are my favourite buys of 2004!!

Some great pictures! Hypno, I have those same figures myself but mine are still boxed in the loft in bubble wrap. Moving house soon so hopefully i'll be able to claim a small space in my new house for a display.
We took our XMAS decorations down tonight, my girlfriend must have called up to the loft at least 20 times. I escaped to the land of Cyborgs and Walders for about an hour - bliss.
Not sure if i'm into the dressed henshin's, i'm not really a fan of the official outfits either, a bit too 70's wrestling for my liking.
Talking of Dressed cyborgs does anyone collect the x-borg figures based on the henshins?
One of those x-borgs has a bald head very similar to the PPFM cyborg.

Lovely pictures, Johnny, and I'm sure it's blasphemous, which makes it cooler. Cyborg as religious icon. You're a bad man to fill your daughter's mind with such creepy notions, though, and you're only making things harder for yourself when she refuses to sleep at night because the Nazi Walders are coming to get her. Speaking of which, they did a Hitler figure a while back (I think it was Dragon) and it would be cool to do a Cyborg meets Hitler photostory.
The two Shonen reissues I own have that blue tint, Johnny. It’s only visible in a certain light but it shows more next to the others. It’s possibly less visible in “real life”, whatever that is.
CBC, I figured I could get reissue Cyborg’s head off with a little heating from Mrs. Hypnotator’s hairdryer; I just had no reason to try. Those KWJrs came with the heads off, so I had to struggle with them. I didn’t think of heating them at the time, but they were splitting, so I cut slits. It was painful for me, but not as bad as having to cut Skullbonz out of his crocodile suit!
Muton 53398, I once saw an Xborg in a SHOP in THIS COUNTRY, which surprised me. I don’t remember it too well; isn’t the head tinted grey? I agree with you about the suits; why buy a lovely transparent figure and then cover it up?
