I only got the transparent ones. Lava Planet is like a boiled sweet. His face is dorky, like a smiley badge that forgot to smile, and I was going to display him with a mask, but he has grown on me. Mission in Stealth has a cool, mean-looking head and comes with a Nazi Stromtrooper helmet and Luger pistol, but the pictures I took of these didn’t come out for some reason. The chromed accessories come with Stealth; Lava has black ones that I couldn’t even be bothered to cut from the tree of parts. Make sure you have a decent craft knife on hand if you’re ordering these. When I was posing these, I came across a tiny bit of plastic that looked like a bit of lead from a clutch pencil. I damn near threw it away because I couldn’t work out what it was. Then I noticed Stealth’s arm kept coming apart at one of the elbow joints. It was a tiny pin that holds the joint together and it took some patience and a pair of tweezers to get it back in. “Hey look – I’m the Martian Chronicles!” “No, I’m the Martian Chronicles!” “Exterminate!” “You’re pole axed, snecker!”

Ah, impalement is always an important part of any good play experience!
Thanks for the photos THose are exactly the two that I was going to buy, but I am putting the brakes on micros. They've been coming out with too many at a time or I've been buying too many because I also only recently discovered the whole reissue line. Maybe I'll get them later. I also like that yellow godzilla microman, but for anohther day if there are any left.
I got the biomachines, which are quite nice a few weeks ago and have yet to open them, except for one. maybe I'll sell them.
My one complaint about the 2004 micros (apart from th fact that they are putting too many out too fast) is that they often have cartoonish heads which to me defeats the purpose of microman which I love for the classic statuesque heads and now classic sculpted bodies. Also their hands are just too damned big!
The original micros had arms too long because of the hands, and knees too high (although that doesn't matter to me - the ape arms really bothers me) and now the bodies are perfect proportioned, but the hands are goofy! It shows more on some than others. For some reason it's fine on the acroyears.

I agree with you about cartoon heads, and I always thought Microman and Henshin Cyborg should be bald. Are they meant to be robots with hair, or organic life forms with silver heads? That's why I bought these; they are clearly robots. I never noticed the hands were too big until you mentioned it. I love the poseablility most of all; it's perfect for photostories. I'm being picky because I can't be bothered to get them all, so transparent ones and ones with decent heads get priority. I passed on the Biomachines, although one of the figures, Trinity, has an interesting head. I'm going to pass on the Godzilla ones too. I got Acrodita recently and she's nice; great head, transparent and the female body is beautifully petite and intricate. I like the look of Acro Phantom; at the moment he's the only one I'm planning to get.
