Oops! I thought you meant the MP-44. The TE-01 is full of diecast! It’s apparent as soon as you pick it up. What?!? Oh no..I might have to jump back into 3rd party fray after a decade of lull... Thank you for your clarification my friend! Do you have Magic Square one too? You’re welcome! I don’t have the Magic Square one for one reason. It can’t tow the MP-10’s trailer properly while the TE can because it has the slots for it. It’s also a great toy based on the reviews I’ve watched though on it.

Fixed the knees! Guys, when you receive your copy, DO NOT bend the lower knee first. Always start at the upper knees then when that is at full bend only then should you bend the lower ones. If you don't do it you will break the legs overtime. Good to hear that you have fixed it Both knees on my mine were shot! Applied the glue fix from TFW2005 and works as a charm! I don't understand why the ratchet pieces on the lower knee joints are 2 separate pieces! oh well, I have never done fixes on my figures and this was my first, just make sure you do it on a place where you can find stuff easily or else there is risk that pieces would be flying because of the springs. Very pleased to hear the ratchet sound now on the lower kness!

I know its got qc issues and I'm not excusing Takara for it, however that iconic pose of Prime's jumping aerial attack recreation to such likelihood warrants some credit in my opinion.

That pose is very iconic..I tried to recreate it however my Bandai stands are too heavy foe him For a transforming figure able to pull out those poses..kudos to Takara! And yes Takara needs to up their QC

It seems MP-44 is very divisive. I have it, five versions of MP-10, four versions of MP-1, the Igear ones, TE, and Magic Square and I have to say I love mine BUT only because it goes so well with MP-36 which I just love.

I got one but have decided to sell it. I was looking at videos on the transformation and I am humble enough to admit I have no interest in trying to transform it. I was struggling to do Sunstreaker. LOL
So I am going to stick with MP-10 and have MP-44 up for sale on eBay. If interested my eBay seller ID is rx79msg.
Thanks!

Incoming MP-44 Nemesis..at around $300USD shipped. But accordingly, it lacks trailers.
Source: Tag Hobby
I "might" bite, if TTH fixed "the known issue" and WHEN and IF it goes on sale around $150 USD.

Think I'm just gonna stick to the 3A DLX's for my Optimus and Nemesis Primes right now...

It is still a bit much.
SoC pricing and even my MP-44 I had to get it on Amazon Japan's discount to lighten up my opinion on the figure.

Hehe, looks like the KO MP-44 has the same knee joint problem as the original But the suggested solution is kinda brutal: (snip)

I think once I went through at least five or six different Fans Toys figures transformations, MP-44 was actually a relief to my senses and to my fingers. Didn't even need a spudger or tool for any step. Some of the more complex Fans Toys transformations just made me want to chuck the toy against the wall in frustration. Prior to buying MP-44 just a month ago, I had always heard it was "difficult". In my opinion, this was furthest from the truth. It was actually easier compared to a lot of 3rd party transformations. (I still strongly believe that the FansProject Causality CA-13 Diesel (a.k.a Not Motormaster) is THEE most difficult transforming toy ever made on planet Earth of all time. Did it once and back and will NEVER choose to do it again.)

Getting it into combiner mode took me hours. Thank god I sold it on ebay. Never been so happy to get rid of a figure/set. I find the Badcube figures to be the worst to transform. I have to put my Badcube Wardog (Warpath) and Arkose (Beachcomber) back in their boxes. Unfortunately both are in robot mode and I have to get it to vehicle mode to store it in the box. Dreading that one.

Ahhh...all in the name of "poseability" and cartoon accuracy. The double-edged sword with Transformers now for me.
I love Transformers...grew up loving them and that has not left me. But, unless I'm just getting dumber, transforming any of these "Masterpiece" types of figures -- either TakaraTomy or 3rd party -- is like I need a triple-PhD from MIT to achieve. They look great but play awful. Gen 1 never had this issue...sure, they are "bricks" and you can't do that "dynamic" macho pose but man, they are sure fun to play with.
I have the FansProject Stunticons in storage and never did crack that set open. I've read and heard about the heebie-jeebies transforming Diesel has caused and I think I'll keep that set in storage longer then. Almost all my TFs (MP and 3rd party) are 1-time transformations. Never will do it again. When I kick the bucket, whoever is in my will has that problem if they are to sell my collection, LOL.

I think there was a shift in direction on the MP designs midway through the line, which you can see visually in the 'cartoon accuracy' trend. Earlier MPs, while transformation is on the complex side, they are not that bad. MP-10 Prime is a good middle ground. Complex enough that it is a step up from 'kids toys' TFs, but most steps are pretty intuitive and you learn the pattern only doing it once or twice. But the 'cartoon accuracy' turn them into crazy origami folding thin panels with so many cuts. You can see it all over the figures. So I am sorry, but MP-44 is definitely not "not that hard to transform" IMHO. Not only does it take forever to transform, its engineering gave it a lot of panels sandwiching and flexing that caused the robot mode so wobbly, it just brings more frustration than good instead. (See my MP-49 thread if you want to see details on that) robotjapan.proboards.com/thread/26100/mp-black-convoy-nemesis-primeBad design is still bad design, even if there are worse out there, IMHO.
