So hey! Fairly new around here but you've probably seen me skulking around certain other groups. Anyway. I wanna get a Lionbot to fill my classic Voltron quota. How's the quality on the most recent batch of them? I have a Trans Bots (Baikanfu) that has amazing quality and God Bot and God Tron that have good plastic but questionable paint apps. How does Lionbot fare these days?

Junk,hit and miss. Best bet is find an 9lder diamond belt. They seem to be the best made of all the lionbots. I have a bunch of extras that i am selling. I also have an extra mini lionbot that i will sell. Depending on what you want and budget i can probably set you up with something that fits what you are looking for. How does Lionbot fare these days? Welcome to RJ! We're glad you've joined us. Stay away from the new LionBots. I've had a couple. One I bought so my son's Matchbox would have weapons. I kept those and gave the robot to his friend. Another came as part of a collection I bought. I sold it. The main reason I got rid of them was the unacceptable paint apps. They're the worst I've ever seen. The lion's heads looked like they were painted by Jackson Pollock. Paint was splashed EVERYWHERE. I'd avoid these. |

Well then! Guess I dodged a bullet by winning a Trendmasters one with gold weapons on eBay.
I know that's not the most popular version but the gold chrome is cool and I like the face in black instead of blue.

Lionbots from 1984-1987/88 are the best versions. Most are only one step off the quality of a Popy or Godaikin Golion, since they were being manufactured in the same place.
