OK. Dunbine OVA with Shion being the main pilot, as well as Beltochika's Children story being a thing is very nice to see. Mazinger Infinity, GGG, and G Gundam, as well as Arcadia/Harlock being the ship are cool. Bebop came out of nowhere, but could be nice. If the main character and mechs are cool, might have to get this.

Pre-order / early purchase bonus is the Gespenst (most likely the R version) with a new original pilot. Beltochika's Children story being a thing is very nice to see. I think it was confirmed as units only. |

Got some nice little surprises.
- 天神 英貴 Hidetaka Tenjin designed the original mech, which is quite Macross inspired, though unique in its own way. Almost look like it has big googly eyes, until you look closer and see the cooler looking face composition (have a feeling it can transform into a plane, like a valkyrie).
- Bellvine (Aura Battler) is featured. If you didn't know, it is a design only appeared in concept art under the Aura Phantasm artbook, which was made into a web exclusive Robot Damashii figure last year (little info in the Robot Damashii thread a while back). Would be really awesome more Aura Phantasm mechs are included in this game, about time people are exposed to the aura battlers' "true form".
- Shin Getter Dragon featured is not the big dragon form we know from the anime, but the one with robot legs. Which is a nice touch and refreshing without being the same stuff again.
- The original Black Geshpenst is the bonus mech you can unlock early from preorders. This mech was dated back in SRW4, as a super variant while all the others are real variants of the original protagonist, before you get the Grungust upgrade.
- 草尾 毅 Takeshi Kusao voiced the original male protagonist, the voice of Trunks in Dragonball Z.
I wonder if the English version release the same time as Japanese's. Just noticed Play-Asia changed the date from late April to March 20th, the same date as the Japanese release.

Shin Getter Dragon was one of the two original concept designs for Armageddon's Shin Dragon. It eventually made its first appearance in the Getter Robo Daikessen PS1 game.

Didn't play it, but followed the designs. There was even another Black Getter and an updated female Getter Q (named Rekka, I think) from there, wonder if those will get used or as secret units. Though the Drill Form of Shin Getter Dragon that Hayato is piloting in the trailer is new to me. Is that a new original SRWT design? Shin Getter Armaggedon got a little stale in SRW due to frequent appearances, so this new tweak is very refreshing, as much as I love Getters. |

Anyone playing this? I am at Scenario 11 now. Pretty good so far. Less generic protagonist storyline, even though the salaryman theme can get a bit over the top. But so far doesn't feel too 'been there, done that', which is refreshing. Haven't seen much posts here, so just curious if any even playing it.
