Wow, I can't wait for this!! Call me absolutely insane, but I'm actually even more excited about this AT Albegas than the Blitzway Voltron. It appears it will be 11" tall (28 cm) which is fantastic. Also the metallic blue color in the Beta robot looks so much better to me than the drab Evolution Toys flat blue. This is the Albegas I've been waiting for, since I've given up on Bandai ever making an SOC.    I do wish someone like Bandai , Pose+ or even Sentinel would do this guy as it stand this leaves a lot to be desired |

OMG I almost fainted seeing the new pics you posted Chen! Can we say this is really happening? I also saw a glimpse of the Albegas in a shot showcasing their upcoming Lion Voltron. (I don't care about Lion Voltron at all. We have 1,273,691 different ones flooding the market coming soon. Being a Voltron collector now is like being an Optimus Prime collector. Good luck with that.) Just give us ONE good Albegas and I can die a happy man. Oh, and I will be buying SEVEN of these Action Toys Albegas, one for every mode.  |

lol, i dont blame you but to fair Albegas is not an easy robot to make, since the proportion change by the use of the mighty anime magic
notice how they designed the arms on the back and the area behind the knees
for me personally i LOVE the EM gokin the best accurate Albegas ever

I like this guy and Ive been needing a big combining Albegas forever. But I'm on the fence with it, how probably it is that we get a SOC in the near future? Albegas is a really important mecha to me and I want to get the real good one (considering that selling a high end mecha in my country is almost impossible, and selling to other countries is absurdly expensive, every time I sell something it takes me years...)

I love that picture. Just by judging from that picture alone, I can literally feel how solid this figure will be. Wouldn't it be perfect irony that when Action Toys finally gets their preorders up online, Bandai teases with SOC Albegas pics? Aww, who am I kidding? We will get 4 more Mazinger Z's or 7 more GX-##R Renewal SOC's before we ever get an SOC Albegas. smh  To be honest, I would not be immediately excited for an SOC Albegas anymore. Soul of Chogokin debuted what, like in 1997 or so? They had 25 years to produce one. I would prefer to give my hard earned dollars to Action Toys or Pose+, who would likely make it even superior than Bandai engineering anyway. I tip my hat to Action Toys for putting the effort into hopefully making this a reality. Are there any videos of the Action Toys Albegas on showcase? |

He's still Can Transform to his Other Forms & Components Which is next to Impossible for the Mech I'm a fan off since he needs also to Change colors & Size for the parts lol |

Bandai managed to do Dairugger gloriously im SURE they could pull a decent Albegas
Sentinel is not about show accuracy or diecast loaded figures so i think they might find a way do a good looking overpriced Albegas
Pose + will do great for sure also

I agree with S_ here... Bandai have made some great figures at a very good price (voltron and dairugger are two good examples). I'd love to see Sentinel tackle Albegas with their awesome engineering (I think no company beats them in that deparment), and Pose+ has already showed us some great figures (some of them combiners) already with great articulation and lots of metal. I would CCS to that list but I haven't seen them do any combiner until now so they would be on uncharted territory |

It's now been over 4 years since this figure was announced. So with the recent news of Action Toys planning a Tetsujin-28 FX release, I'm assuming this Heavy Metal Albegas release is no longer in the cards. I'm guessing something happened with the licensing along the way. There have been so many other projects that were announced and released after their Albegas. But for whatever reason, Albegas was just a vapor-bot for them. What a tease this ended up being. |

Don’t give up hope. Action Toys was teasing relatively production ready prototypes of the Starzinger ships for years prior to their miraculous and official preorder announcement last year. Granted, we haven’t received the actual product yet but the release would finally appear to be imminent. Fingers crossed for both Starzinger and Albegas…

allow me to share my input on this
this Albegas is not in the Heavy Metal line its in a new DX line, they will also do Voltron in this line (the one with the accurate looks that we saw earlier)
from what i know (could be wrong) they are still working on it but the development is taking longer than they thought
another tiny hope that they did cancel Mini Action Mazinger z and Aphrodite A, but with this one they didnt so they might be working on it as we speak
dont forget Covid is still alive so there is alot of delays in things
lets wait and see

When designer Ah Lu from POSE+ officially tell fans to buy this DX Albegas instead of waiting for a POSE+ release (he designed that Albegas) in one of their showcase video just a few months ago, I don't think this became a vapor-bot. Delayed for sure, but don't think its gone.
