I recommend to wait for a reissue and see if Sentinel makes any minor tweaks here and there. Lots of folks reporting loose ankles and overly tight shoulders. There's also some other minor problems that could be ironed out with a little more care in the build quality. A few reports of people breaking the landing gear are out there, but only a few.

Does anyone know where this is in stock? I see it on NY with a markup but not much else.
Just saw your reply moleman. Hopefully there will be a reissue. But doubt anything gets fixed if the Mospeada ride armor is any indication.

While I did not experience loose ankles, I did experience overly tight shoulders. Did Sentinel improve and tweak the ride armor bikes after the reissues? I'm scared because I have a first release of all the bikes and have not transformed any of them thus far.

But doubt anything gets fixed if the Mospeada ride armor is any indication. My reissue of Stick had some minor build quality improvements like the handle bars not being stressed out of the box, the shoulder pads not constantly popping off and the paint on the abdominal section was more rugged than my first copy. Also, since Dancouga got KO'd and made better, I think that lit a fire under Sentinel's ass to make improvements to the reissue of Dancouga. In the upcoming Sol Gravion Sentinel is improving the arm connection on the base figure and painting the eyes black around the eyes. So maybe.....there could be improvements with the red and green and maybe a reissue of the blue legioss.

Mine has a loose left ankle and the shoulder joints to rotate the arms up are super tight that I feel I’m going to break it if I force it. Although there most parts lock into place to make it feel solid, there should be more like on the wings. Also, my intake covers pop off if you just look at it. Still this is the best modern iteration of the legioss at this time.

Although there most parts lock into place to make it feel solid, there should be more like on the wings. Also, my intake covers pop off if you just look at it. Still this is the best modern iteration of the legioss at this time. I was able to force the movement of the rotation on the shoulders somewhat, but it still won't rotate freely all the way up. And the small distance that I got it to move, I also feel compromised the tightness of the joint, even if just a small %. That's definitely a Con against the toy. Maybe subsequent reissues won't have the stiff shoulders. I'm leaving my shoulders alone and won't chance loosening or breaking them. My wing and fin did pop off one time during transformation, but it was easy to pop them back in. Just like the vintage Gakken however, I am worried about the bendable wing flaps sagging and becoming loose over time. Amidst some of these issues, this is still the hands down, best modern version Legioss ever released in my book.

That looks like a fantastic figure I wish I could get one of these. One question though, that center missile pod between the arms in fighter mode is it removable? That's not screen or line art accurate and I believe it was added for the model kit but I may be wrong about that.

Was watching ToysTV's video review and that missile pod wasn't even on the figure. From what I gathered from the review, it is a very well designed figure with some very smart engineering. Fighter mode especially impressive as the lines are sleak and they did something really nice to tug in the feet, which always seem bulky and sticks out in previous toys. Transformation aren't bad but with some tricky steps on the torso and shoulders. Some room for improvement on execution and joints tightness consistency, and the rider/pilot mini figure is nice to look at, but a mess when handling as almost every joint on it falls apart with the slightest touch. Arms also a bit short in robot mode.

Also I love the opening missle compartments on the legs and shoulders. Had a little trouble getting the rear landing gears out since I wasn’t sure how they were supposed to come out.

I love the figure. Wish they painted the eyes a brighter yellow though. I had to shine a flashlight directly onto the eyes to even notice it was painted.
