Just guessing by the prototypes it looks like Vehicle Voltron will be roughly the same height as Lion Voltron.

Excellent news! "Pending Licensor Approval" means its basically all ready to go and be manufactured without much delay! I like Bandai's more experienced buisness tactics, of waiting to even tease us after they have most of the product settled...unlike.."ahem"...previous debacles..LOL

No weapons shown in tease table pics, but that should be the easiest part to make for DairuggerXV.

I hope that the final version would have the clear translucent for the Windows of the cockpit crossing my fingers X Stocked that we are finally getting Dairugger! Oh man!! DX VF-1J, MP Prime 3.0 and now this....wow! Looks like the cockpits are already translucent blue plastic, but painted with silver backing to make them more reflective (but opaque).

hmmm i need info about this photo
why Dairugger is Voltron I, Albegas is Voltron II, and Golion is Voltron III ?
according to the wiki
Golion was aired first (March 4, 1981)
Dairugger was aired second (3 March 1982) Albegas was the 3rd one (March 30, 1983)
so the numbers are way off
its just wired for me because technically and originally those 3 are not related by any means, however they going united under the name of Voltron
all are under Toei Animation, both of Dairugger and Albegas are from the same director and thats about it

For SoC reissues, does Bandai do something with the figure or packaging in any way to distinguish it from the original?

This is due to later USA and other market distribution of toys and shows. By the time WEP got them all together, dubbed , translated, toy deals, packaging, etc. it was all about brands of Voltron, WEP, and Matchbox. The brands of Bandai, Toei, and the date order of original shows of GoLion, DairuggerXV, Albegas, were almost totally unknown, and irrelevant to most of us kids who saw that newer Matchbox Voltron packaging.
