Just came across this tweet on my feed. Not sure of the accuracy but it says Dairugger will be released in September.

If I were a betting man, we are going to see two things at SDCC 2019 – the first GX-71 reissues available for sale at the Tamashii Nations booth, and the first real look a finished GX-88 prototype.

What about our precious Miracle Productions Voltron? Even with the problems to delivery Miracle Vehicle Voltron, I was happy with it. I enjoy displaying the different GoLion versions. So I guess I will probably display the Miracle with the SOC.

No offense but having the reissue exclusive to comiccon is a horrible idea as alot of people want it but don't have the money to go to sdcc just for it. Should be a regular preorder as all the other socs have been. Looking forward to gx-88.

I merely said I felt like it would *first* be available there. Of course, it will be widely available at numerous locations/sites. But that’s just my dumb educated guess.

Hard to believe 5+ years have passed since getting Miracle's VV. Even longer when you factor in the wait from first reveal! Even though it's served me well, my gut reaction here was "Seeya later!" but then ... you know it really is a pretty damn good figure. Especially for what amounted to their first and only release. It's mostly just held back by a few QC and minor design issues. But it does so much right as well. Remember those big shoulder joints that let him swing his arms in! You still don't see much of that on much smaller figures. I think I said at the time that an SoC would have its work cut out for it, and i stand by that. The sculpt and paint already looks on point, much sharper. The proportions seem like they'll be a bit better. But sticking all 15 together is no small engineering feat, so i really hope it's stable! Interesting to note that the feet appear to be missing their back windows and part of the roofs. Clearly for transformation, but I wonder if the display is mis-transformed or if there's a gap-filling piece we're not seeing? Yellow bumper is also cartoon accurate, and yeah definitely looks like it's a stabilising piece for combined mode.

is odd that i wanted the defender of the universe Voltron more than this "Defender of the Universe" is the 80s Voltron. I thought you already had that one. Do you mean "Legendary Defender"? (2016 DreamWorks Voltron)
oh my bad man, i meant the Legendary Defender, im watching the final season and i really would like to have one in my collection

I'm still keeping my Miracle Vehicle Voltron, so I can use it for comparative purposes.
I'm glad GX-88 is including all those little chrome piece add-ons that the vintage Deluxe Kikougattai Dairugger had for Kairugger vessels #9 and #10. That being said, I hope the helicopter propellers are removable for combined mode.

This will probably be on display at SDCC. I’ll take some pictures and post them here.

I've limited my collection to only vintage Popy & Godaikin Series 1, and my collection is in the "finalizing" stage. *BUT* I always make room for Voltron related items!
I take the fact that it's GX-88 (88 is a lucky number in asian numerology) as a sign that the "toy gods" want me to have this, and be happy :-)
Can't wait for this to come out - and I'm hoping that the reissue of GX-71 will include accessories, that will make Golion more anime accurate!

Yeah, one can hope for sure but i think GX-71 reissue will be basically still the same as the 2016 release.

That one is one at $700+ price range... that’s insane and a good reason for them to reissue it (and make money from the market).

that overpriced MP 44 prime hehehe... Takara is a ripp off. Thankfully Bandai is giving u your money's worth. Oh mate i know ae! But amazom jp had the best deal $347 already shipped then again soc voltron was cheaper..bandai bang in the buck! Not sure why tak raising their prices too high. With its reveal, when do you guys expect release date? Its just insane for a plastic figure to be priced that much.

No doubt it'll be on display but, with SDCC being six months away I'd expect a full reveal in one of the hobby mags for next month or the following. I just hope he's a fall release with summer being super wallet killing as is.
