Seriously. I want to at least hear some justifications from Bandai as to why they decided tk give this guy such a price hike!!! I don't have much experience with SOC as the ones I only have is the Voltes V and the pending Golion/Voltron reissue but I'm thinking this one takes a lot more tooling given the multiple pieces. We're looking for poseability and something that doesn't fall apart easily.

this thing is so confusing for me first i dont like the character that much but when i look at the figure, i cant say anything but wow it looks really good, then i take a look at the price and a say WTH are they smoking ? this could be the most expensive SOC ever produced, THEN thinking about it, this is 15 parts combiner so it must cost them alot to develop, also its a very rare character there is only one other company who did a decent one, but is that enough to justify the price ? well i will (try) to score one be ready for a royal rumble to get this one lol
now i need to see more dynamic poses

I’ll take two, please. Just like GoLion, will want to display one in full formation and the other as individual vehicles. Bandai sure delivered, all right – delivered on Dairugger Chogokin quality, while also delivering a soul-crushing, kumite-winning, Frank Dux-like knockout roundhouse kick to my wallet...

Well that's gonna go down as one of the best arguments for waiting for final photos ever! I can't compare side by side atm to tell if much changed from the prototype other than the size of the rotors? But damn. I have no issues with this at all and though pricy, it surely looks worth it.

This is listed as 29cm tall compared to Golion at 27cm so almost 1" taller, I'm really glad I bought those longer chrome thighs for Golion now.

Who's complaining about the price again? This thing in reality could cost aot more. There must have been a tremendous amount of tooling that went into this and it is the best looking figure I think u have ever seen. 400 is well worth is considering what we paid for Dx mazinger and combattra which are a lot simpler to manufacture than a 15 piece beautiful combined. I am super impressed and can't wait for the real thing

I managed to accquire a set, but hoping the guy who made them makes more sets. 29cm isn't bad at all, would of preferred same size as Golion but Golion you can adjust his height so they should still be near same height range.

That looks nice! I have a feeling that PO will be tomorrow, maybe..
I wanted to get two but can only afford one, noticed that you have to take out the rotors on the shoulders for poseability I guess that will hinder the shoulders..still pretty good that you can have both hands hold the sword like that.
Looking forward to more pics

Why are you guys saying $400? I convert 38,500 yen to just under $350. Or are you guys including shipping?

Beautiful piece.... can’t wait to have it... will secure 2 of this and display in both modes..... Bandai seriously delivers and $350- $400 seems legit. Lots of metal I am sure. Have a feeling this will be a bloodbath ...time will tell!

Yeah "around" 400 with shipping. Prob little over 400 coming from oversea
At around 30 per vehicle, the price is fair I think. But sheeee dont tell Bandai.
I passed couple of 200 to 250 robots so i think i can justify this purchase.
This robot is unpassable for me. Going by couple of photos, This robot has a ton of metal...

Hopefully the higher price scares the scalpers off. Vehicle Voltron is not as popular as the Lions, at least not in the states. I think this will be harder to flip on secondary market. At least at first. Scalpers look for quick turnover.
I like it. I will be ordering. Never had the Vehicle Voltron when I was a kid. I had the matchbox Lion Voltron. My buddy in school had the Vehicle Voltron. I remember playing with our voltrons on the playground. Good times.
