Did anyone preorder through gamestop? I did two from there just trying to secure as many as I could. I have never dealt with gamestop for anything. I have 3 already secured and shipped out and wondering what to do with GS. Did you fully paid the preorder at GS? I did it with paypal, but they have not taken money yet. I wonder if they will really get any of the gx-88?

They are both great the red comet and dairugger ... it'll be hard to choose between the two for TOTY. It's like Bandai decided to answer my demands for the past decade or so finally by releasing a high end zaku figure and my childhood saturday morning cartoon show in the same year. They are both really great examples of why Bandai is known as the best in their industry. Based on engineering I'd have to go with Dairugger GX-88, but damn that Red Comet Zaku just swoons in coolness like no other metal build gundam I have in my collection How is the right red copter arm doing for your dairugger? I think my copy just has a weaker right shoulder ratchet I had it fully inserted the first go around. At 90 degrees and up the ratchet will hold the arm pose fine but at the lower downward angles, it will fall down back to resting pose with the slightest of shakes. Oh well, I still love it LOL it's a really solid release from Bandai even with my minor gripe. I know as I have a lot of Bandai SOC's to compare and I can say this is by far one of their better releases with a crap ton of toy engineering effort was put into it.

What would my videos be without a good cringe? I admit editing next day after getting rest im like wth am I doing? It was a looong night. Lol Im like let me read the instructions to avoid issues yet I glanced through it! Nothing like beating up expensive figures huh? Even after ripping waist out all those times it holds well so as long as you use button it should last forever. I do cringe with RPA videos sometimes, because he's so excited about a figure that he doesn't even look at the instructions. That part where he's trying to find the ab crunch but putting the force on the wrong section, popping out the waist swivel part... that right there could likely have stripped a bit of that locking mechanism, and it'll be easy to come apart unintentionally after that. Even the front hip skirt, was noted as "FRAGILE" in the instructions, he's just flipping it up like nothing, and it keeps falling out (SMH). You done good. An excited Charles makes a better review, LOL. The fast & loose style works great for some of us & will cause exasperation to the methodical types. Theres reviews on youtube for everybody's style.

I ordered from my local GameStop also(fully paid). Says should be there Black Friday but probably a week or two after. I know people whom ordered the gx-71 from gamestop ended up getting it not too far after bbts. When does Amazon ship also btw? Bandai really took the height into consideration really well between the gx-71 and gx-88(the upgrade thighs make gx-71 almost too taller while stock thighs they're the same height).

wow 11 likes on my review
hey Gold watch out im going to get your crown as our top reviewer jk
thing is im used of getting likes in RJ but not on a single post or a single review, and dont get me wrong im not doing it for the likes, i do it because im passionate about this hobby and i want to help other fellow collectors, but its really cool to see my work is been appreciated, so thank you for your support guys
after saying that i need to answer some of you
to be honest with you bro, i give every figure a fair chance to impress me, if the figure is good im going to say its good and when its bad you bet im going to say its bad
this figure remind me of the good old days when you just couldn't say Bandai and any other company in the same sentence, its just so good, made me shake my head how come, they mange to give a 15 part combiner better engineering than a 5 part combiner like the DX Combattler v, specially in the legs why they didn't use those tiny doors to give the legs more articulation, really that DX had alot of room for improvement
you are missing out Miguel, trust me bro i was in the same boat, im still not interested in the anime and i still think the robot is overdoing it, 15 part combiner WTH lol
but we are talking about a figure value, as a figure this thing is amazing to play with and to combine to different modes its exactly what got us going when we were kids
i highly recommend you get one, and give it a try i assure you, you will LOVE it
as for which one is better this or FF Zaku II, and coming for a guy who own both
the amount of love, smartness, and awesome engineering that went in to making Dairugger XV is just incomparable to Zaku II, so for me Dairugger XV is a winner, TOTY im telling you

I think the impact of your review was strong...especially strong.
You usually come down on Bandai... HARD! Dont get ME wrong. Its cool. Because I ALSO give Bandai the "tough love." Not to mince word. And yes, thats because WE expect alot from, so called, "the best."
And for awhile the Blue Tamashii Quality emblem's been a real sick joke to me. I scoff at it. But I am glad Bandai is seemingly turning the boat around...
For YOU to give this kind of endorsement must mean something.

Don't worry.. I'll live vicariously through other people... so keep those reviews (and pics) coming!

thank you for your explaining
yes i come down on them because i know they can do better than what they gave us
for example lets take GX-84 Zambot 3 why they used cheap plastic in the shoulder joints ? while other FA figure have full diecast or a mix between diecast and plastic ?
and as you can see these things aint cheap as they used to so they need to do better job on this point
another point is the QC problems with alot of the recent releases, specially in the SOC line other lines i get are fine
last point, some of us cant afford getting an awful or bad figure, so i make sure to say whats bad and whats good about the figure so they can decide for them self

Nice - do you have the full color pic of this in your display. I love the combination of the Toynomi 30th stand, with the SOC! Note to Bandai: Please give us a SOC Albegas, so those of us that love Voltron can complete the trilogy (in a modern way)!!!

Sold out at Amazon, BBTS,and EE.....
I have to believe Bandai is ACTIVELY working on SOC Albegas if they havent started already.
Im sure Bandai will rerelease Dairugger when they release SOC Albegas along with Lion Voltron haha.
Whew, Bandai got itself "a real soc franchise." An endless variations of Voltrons, not unlike SRC Mazinger perhaps. Not a bad thing for Voltron fans.
