Albegas Limited Edition DVD Box Set Volume #1 by Toei Video

After scowering the net for any decent collections of Albegas in its pure Japanese format, I gave up and decided to just buy the official limited edition release by Toei Video. I had the torrent of the Albegas series dubbed in Arabic, but I just couldn't get into watching it hearing it in that language versus the original Japanese language. (No offense to Arabic or anything)

This box set cost me as much as a damn chogokin toy. But this thing is sweet. My obsession with Albegas grows as the years go by. I have to save up to get the second box set of this series which is also expensive. Can't wait to take it all in and watch the whole series, since I'm done holding my breath that WEP will ever release a DVD boxed set for us.

Nice set. The Japanese collections always look very nice, and very pricey. Unfortunately, I have to go with Blu-ray on any anime these days, since DVD is becoming obsolete, and its also a different region from US (Japanese share same region on blu-ray hoewever). I still have my old import PS2 to play my small Japanese DVD collection, but not sure how long I can still use that thing.

I'd hardly call DVD obsolete when it still outsells blu-ray by a wide margin!

mrclean08 non taken every show sound better when you watch it in the original language with subs, to be honest Albegas isnt one of the best dubbed shows in Arabic however Grendizer is a great example for an awesome dubbed show

the thing is tho the Arabic dubbed version of Albegas have the best quality available in the net, i have the show in RAW and the quality is good but not as great as the dubbed version, same with the ENG subbed version

I wish there was a Japanese original language English subbed version somewhere.

there is a dude who did the first episode but the quality wasn't wow, not sure if he will continue tho
