Hello Gamers
couple of days ago and just like that Sony unveiled the new PlayStation specs, here is some of it features
8k resolution (my brand new 4k tv didn't complete 1 year yet lol) but imagine playing God of War on 8k
CPU 8 core AMD Ryzen based on 7nm Zen 2 GPU Radeon Navi Based Backwards compatibility with Ps4 (there is still some talk about compatibility with Ps1 Ps2 and Ps3 but nothing is conformed yet) SDD (Solid State Drive) for faster performances, they did a test with Spiderman game, the fast travel on the Ps4 Pro took 15 sec but in the ps5 it took only 0.8 sec wow 3d sound will still have physical disk
no release date yet, but according to multiple resources its not going to be in 2019
my personal guessing it will be unveiled in 2020 and released later that year or early 2021, this is a guess nothing official

Was going to get the Best Buy $200 PS4 slim bundle on this BlackFriday deal....but just noticed its not BC...wtf.
The hell was Sony thinking? No BC nor 4K disc player...
Guess im waiting till next year for the awsome PS5... My colonoscopy came negative so i think i got more years.

Hope the price won't be too bad. That may affect when I do the upgrade. My old PS4 still runs fine, but super fast load time and download with that SSD sure sounds enticing.

I have a question guys, I recently also bought A PS4 pro limited spider man edition , I want to play certain games (Red Dead Redemption II, SFV Champion edition , Samurai showdown … ETC) but I noticed that downloading stuff & installing games just take for ever!! street fighter took around 10 hours to finish download and install!! is that normal or did I get a defected unit?!

Not an expert here, but have been using PS4 a long time. Download does take long, but not 10 hrs, especially when yours is a Pro. For big games, it can take an hour or two for the initial download, or if it is online game with a big update (like Destiny 2 that has updates every few months), it does take a couple hours to download the files and install, especially if your internet is not very fast (mine is around 50 MB/sec download speed, which is on the average or slower side). But if yours literally take 10 hrs for one game, then that's not normal.

Anyway, even if you tried getting a dozen, the PS4 would only download one and put the rest in a queue.

first congrats on getting the spider man edition, i was going to get it too but i went with the 500 million edition
i want to help you but since you are supporting cRapcom and buying SF i wont help
lol jk
as for your question
if you are downloading a digital copy (from the playstation store) it depends mainly on your internet connection and how fast its, best connection right now is fiber optical it gave you a solid speed and it wont be affected by how many people are using the network, also it depends on the PSN state and how many people are downloading the game
if you are downloading from a disc, it depends on the game size same for example red dead 2 is an insane 150GB that WILL take time to download and install on your system, the game is 2 disc man lol
you mentioned something a bit odd which is Samurai Shodown the game size is around 20GB so it should NOT take 40 min to install IF you have a hard copy (disc) if you got the a digital then its very normal to take that time
here is couple of tips to help you improve the time
1 dont leave your PS standing leave it like this
2 keep it on a flat cold surface
3 keep in a place that have good ventilation
4 try cleaning it from time to time specially the fan, i have an air gun that work wonder but you should take it to a shop to clean it from the inside as well, you will be shock by the amount of dust you will find inside, its an easy process really you can do it by your self but some store owners are such snowflakes and they will say you broke the warranty
i hope this helps you

Thanks man for the info and I will try all. Yes ... I do support SFV (although I know that they are getting greedy) but I really want the franchise to continue and to be fair SFV is a good game. most welcome man
let me know how is things are going after you do all that
SF was a good game now its just awful, the same story about Ryu and how he is so powerful and kind and sweet and all that nonsense lol, also SF lost it crown long ago now the champion is tekken, from the sales numbers to the huge amount of people that follow the game, on top of that they are not as greedy as cRapcom, who charge you for everything even outfit
i say its an awful move to sell us an empty game and ask us to complete it by paying extra for stuff that should be in the game in the first place, but thanks to some stupid players who get their money from their parents who cant say no to them, microtransaction are getting out of control
i know im only 1 guy but i will never pay for this stupidity EVERRRRRRRRRRRRR

So just saw the presentation. No console reveal but spec wise, It’s less powerful than Xbox Series X. Their SSD custom seems faster based on their presentation.
This is a rumor and I don’t think this is true but I heard Sony may buy Metal Gear, Castlevania and Silent Hill from Konami.
