Really excited about this. It's my favourite line and its growing quickly, although I'm interested just in the gundam stuff and mostly UC, I hope to see something that will blow me away at this exhibition. Hopefully we will see the prototypes for the next 6 or 8 month...

Hopefully we will see the prototypes for the next 6 or 8 month... Same here, though I really excited for non-Gundam stuff as well. With the X2 on its way, the only MB prototypes that have yet to be released are the Infinity from Mazinger, Astray Blue Frame 2ndL, and the Arm Slave Booster Pack, all of which I hope do come out, but if they don't show up here, it wouldn't be a huge loss. As I said in the main Metal Build thread, I think it'd be interesting to see androids and characters like Iron Man get the MB treatment even though they arent giant robots. I definitley think Tamashii could give Hot Toys and Sentinel some heavy competition in that area. Also, moderizing more classic bots would be cool, maybe giving combiners the FA treatment? Or maybe going for MB combiners for more modern mecha. The show being called "Infinity" would seem to indicate Tamashii's willingness to branch off into new areas with the line, so I'm really looking forward to what that will be.

I secretly hoped one day metal builds would do iron Man and war machine! I think they would do an awesome job with them. But I honestly don't think they will because they aren't big mechas.

Yeah, I think it'd be a pretty easy win for Bandai considering their success with Marvel Figuarts, but the chances are pretty slim since Iron Man, etc. aren't giant bots. But way back when I started collecting Metal Builds, I tweeted at Tamashii Nations to say I'd like Metal Build Mazinger. They said the line wasn't for older bots at the time, but got what I wished for eventually. So, here's hoping...
It also helps that Chemical Attack has been pretty involved with the Metal Build series, and they developed SenTiNel's line up of Iron Man figures, so there's history there with the staff.

Gurren Laggan and DW Voltron would be really awesome, and I think they'd fit the MB aesthetic really well too. Genesic Gaogaigar would be pretty cool too even if they leave out the transformation.
I'm assuming Grendizer and Mazinkaiser will happen eventually.

Any interesting information on this event? I'm over 00 unless they plan releasing non-variants.

Tamashii just announced that concept 2 is from Gundam Seed more details to come on 21-23 of this month.
I'm hoping for a 2.0 Freedom but I have the feeling it could be the sword and gun packs for Strike Gundam, but gut feeling its Aegis..

I'm hoping for a 2.0 Freedom but I have the feeling it could be the sword and gun packs for Strike Gundam, but gut feeling its Aegis.. Or Infinite Justice, which would be pretty cool. Zaku Warrior would be a great surprise (and has many variants to be exploited). The Strike add ons have their own display, so there may be a few of those shown. A bit of a let down that both concepts are from series MB has been working with since the beginning as opposed to something completely new or out of left field. The hype about "expanding the Metal Build world" seems like it has to do with gimmicks or features for upcoming figues then, which can still be exciting, especially if we get some type of combiner. Eva 02 should be pretty cool to finally see, too.

We will see, but the name on the promo pic only says "Seed" I checked the box of my Strike F and it does say "seed Destiny" so its looking like its pointing to "Seed" only maybe a sky grasper with the other strike parts.

Ah, good point.
Though there are a good number of other Seed suits too, like regular Justice and Strike Rouge.
There's also the "New Model" display that says it will be showing soon to be released MB's like Crossbone X2 and Astrea, as well as figures "being considered" for release.

The Astray Red Dragon - Man that's a lot of swords, it's almost silly. But oh well.
Strike Draig - WHERE IS YOUR GOD NOW.

Until now nothing that makes me excited... good to my wallet but still a bit disappointing. I'll wait to see what they offer in the complete exhibition.

Why are they bothering to black the Alternative Strike out if there are already photos of it online? I'm assuming that's a leaked photo?
