Is 4K UHD a "just" an upscale of 2K ?

I think this will enlighten many why HDR is MUCH more 8mportant then pixel count...

This finally decided which console and what TV I'm going to get.

PS5 with the best "HDR" TV I can afford...( the only reason I was considering XBOX over PS was its UHD player..)

also I'm not buying any 4k UHD, not till movie industry / SFX/ P.C. chip industry catch up to TV and Camera industry. W.T.F!!!

i think you should wait for HDMI 2.1 for a better performance and better experience

also try to be patient on the PS5, since the first patch is not guaranteed to be QC free you know

the first movie i watched with 4K and HDR was Ant-Man and the Wasp its was a really good experience with colors the motions and how awesome it looked, and that was playing it via USB from the TV not with a 4k player
