Holy moly!!! 60k yen, I have never owned a Pose+ before this maybe my first one. This looks bloody good!
Hows the die cast content on pose+ figs? What would be the height?

Yeah I figured the price would be high. This looks to be SoC killer even though SoC version is good. Pose+ Metal is pretty much DX line.

The SoC GaoGaiGar was almost my first entry into this hobby based on a very entertaining Jobby review video. I don't really have any nostalgic connection to GaoGaiGar as at the time I was more in the Evangelion camp, so I ended up grabbing the GX-88 instead. No ragrets!
However, I have read so many great things about the Pose+ Metal figures and this stylized GaoGaiGar sounds like a perfect(ly overpriced) entry into the line.
I have seen lots of issues across threads with people complaining about the pre-order process. Does anyone know what a reputable shop for a Pose+ preorder might be?

Did anyone else notice that it says "20cm" (7.87")?
That's much smaller than SOC which is 26cm (10.24").
To give a sense of size- if you have GX-75 Mazinkaiser or GX-87 Getter Emperor, those are about 20cm.

Hmmm if it’s same height then I might be happy with my SoC Goldymarg in hand and GGG brick setup. I just moved the combo yesterday to another shelf and I’m happy with it.
If I’m going to spend lot more money for same character it’s going to be because it’s taller, more diecast, improved body mechanics engineering and articulated fingers.

This one is a tough buy, honestly. My SOC is very complete with all the add-ons. It functions very well as one of the top SOCs you can buy. Yet when I went back and look at it in my cabinet after seeing these new pics, the POSE+ is indeed cooler. It captures more of the essence in the anime with the more exaggerated proportions and extra details. While I feel like I am half onboard, and then look at the 58000yen price tag, this is going to be another $700 purchase right off the bat with DHL. But to top it off, this GGG is incomplete. Adding the upgrades & Goldy that will come down the road, it will no doubt becoming a $1000-1200 purchase. This is far steeper than a DX SOC, but closer to a Metal Structure price range. Which raise a big question...
Do I really need this for more than a grand, when I have an excellent complete GGG sitting in my cabinet? I don't really have an answer at this point.
While it is easier to make the leap on Baikanfu, as it is a huge engineering and visual upgrade from the SOC, and there is no future upgrade needed. On GGG however, it is only a small visual upgrade on a top tier SOC that has little room to be improved upon. Can't seem to convince me to be brave enough to buy it just yet. Really don't know...
