"Looks" like ET kept the magnet on head and arms (on closer inspections, I can very WELL be wrong on the arms) Also the article says most of metal went to joints ( hopefully internal structure too). I'm “OK” with just metal feet. But I'd def have preffered LED eys and chest instead of pilot gimmick. This looks tobe one of the most "stable" Jeeg. If he has clickies, i might bite. (especially if my upcoming Poseidon turns out good.) Here is the full article. Credit: Gokinit www.gokin.it/2021/09/01/report-future-quest-kotetsu-jeeg-kotetsu-jigu-grand-action-big-size-model/

Just a warning for people who buy from Anime Export
I preordered this figure back in 2019 and paid for it in full back then.
Issue: the figure was never released and they refuse to give me my money back.
Outcome: AE ignored all my emails after I asked for the refund and I only heard from them this week, when the figure was finally released. They didn’t apologize or anything after ignoring my emails for months, just sent an email saying: item is now in stock, pay the shipping charge.
Advice: NEVER use the pay-up-front option if you are buying from AE. The discount you get from doing so might be tempting but if anything goes wrong, they keep your money and ignore your emails.
Details: The company making the figure keept pushing the release date back over and over until I got feedup with their bull and asked AnimeExport to cancel my order and give me a refund. To my surprise they said no and claimed they had already spent the money on the figure preorder. I told them that a one or two month delay was ok but a two year delay was simply unacceptable and that at this point five more years could go by before we saw the release. AE claimed that the figure was officially going to be released in May 2021 so I ask them if they would issue a refund if that didn’t happen. The lady at AE said she would issue the refund FOR SURE if the figure was not released by then. Sure enough by the end of June the figure was still in limbo so I contacted AE for my refund and to my surprise they didn’t reply. I emailed the lady there four more times and I haven’t hear back from them ever since. They went from a top notch company to a company with aweful service over one figure, even tough I have purchased nearly a hundred figures from them in the past 10 years. The figure was finally released this week and surprise, surprise… I am now getting emails from her asking to pay the shipping.

Now im more like to play these toys than any jeeg ... maybe its classic design ... now try to answer 1. The magnet joint was replaced with ratchet join , the only magnet stay is in the head only 2. Metal parts on the legs im not sure , but im pretty sure its under his feet , its makes great for standing to hold his light plastic body 3. The fingers is limited articulated , its like old classic type. only for grab or punch style, and bad paint looks too

Im just worry for tight ball joints , its limited point articulation , cant bent up front .., thats the max i can pose it Some issues is break or loose the ball tight joint because its based on light glued only, so im not trying to extreme bent it Here some complain of the bad qc , some of is break the tight joint already So please be careful to pose it ... it might be bad QC or bad design cause of damage the joints.

I've been tempted to buy the upcoming Jeeg w/ Pantheroid & Marine Parts bundle. However, seeing the QC issues that gunvalion posted above makes me hesitant. I admit I'm in a bit of a honeymoon period with Evolution Toy at the moment because of how well their Daikengo was executed, and I really liked their Future Quest Getter-1. I'm familiar with the 1975 Steel Jeeg anime so I'm invested in the character as well. I keep contemplating on if I want to preorder the Jeeg bundle set. Decisions, decisions. gunvalion , are you going to get the Pantheroid & Marine Parts set?

Future quest and ET work as two separate companies. They use ET brand to distribute easily into some countries their product (I don't know if this jeeg is ET or future quest). That being said, I have around 7 ET figures from their dynamite action and never had any major issue with them. (Also sold their albegas, getter robo and getter dragon who were cool to me too)

(Also sold their albegas, getter robo and getter dragon who were cool to me too) Correct. Yes, I've been aware that ET and Future Quest work as two separate companies as I also read the same article. I have the ET Dynamite Action Albegas and the blue robot's chest fell apart and became unglued. I also have the ET Grand Big Size Action Albegas and the front of the leg broke apart while transforming it just within its first day of unboxing it. The Dynamite Action figures should not have any QC issues as their engineering is not complex, so for my Dynamite Action Albegas figure to fall apart, that was inexcusable. Their Super Metal Tetsujin-28 also was cheaply made compared to the Action Toys Heavy Metal Tetsujin-28. However, I do feel the latest releases from them are of a higher quality now, so even though I had some bad experiences with earlier releases, I'm willing to move forward and give them my business again if their QC is improved. I'm interested in this ET GABM Jeeg because ironically, we still do not have a vintage classic Jeeg in the SOC line. GX-42 is not based off of Koutetsu Jeeg (1975) and is based off of Kotetsushin Jeeg (2007).
