I was recently looking in to the New Material Model and Metal Material Model lines of 1/100 scale chogokin Gundams since it seems like they may be kind of ancestor lines to Metal Composite, Metal Build, and Metal Structure and was kind of thinking of picking a couple of them up since they're not too expensive.
Does anyone have any info or comments on the Metal Material line? I really liked the look of Sword Impluse and Blast Impulse. I might try to track down the clear version Sword & Launcher Strike.

I own the 3 Metal Material INPULSE GUNDAM since their release,
and They have totally YELLOWED ! the worst case in all my collection,
so I would not advice to buy these ones,
Wait fot a MeatlBuild release...

Thanks for letting me know about the yellowing issue, Goldorak. I did notice that all the Blast Impulses that I've seen so far have had lots of yellowing even when brand new. So, even though I would like to get one for history's sake maybe I will pass on those... |

Not only that, my v2 release of my Macross Chogokin DX Alto has also yellowed.

My ver.1 Alto also yellowed. I think it is just a matter of time for non-painted white plastic to fall victim to this, regardless not being exposed to sunlight (mine is in a closed cabinet with no glass). So for those collecting the Bandai DX VF-1s, their days are numbered.  |

I have Aile Strike and the deactivated Strike with the big sword and launcher strikers. I love them.
