So Banana Force is a company doing non-transforming Transformers homages focusing on sleek aesthetics, advanced articulation, and high-end materials/production/quality. Basically think Flame Toys but with a more solid build approach and the build quality would be more towards Soul of Chogokin standards.

So far announced are MPL-01 and MPL-02 which are homages to the early 2000s Robots In Disguise Series Optimus Prime and Ultra Magnus. Although they don't transform they do combine to create the Omega Prime mode.


Just got in MPL-01 Red Sharpshooter today and it's incredible. Will update as I review and produce the gallery.

Article breaks it down piece-by-piece but in the end I gave it a 7.0/10. It's a really nice piece, particularly for the price but there are some areas in terms of things like articulation and accessories that I feel would need to be improved even if not in a major fashion to really bring it up to that 8.0-10 level.

I was really on the fence about this since I don't have any other 3P Transformers... but I think I might have to go back and pick this up before it sells out. Price point was way better than Flame Toys too...
