I also bought the associated DX Voltes V poster/catalog on eBay. Can't wait to get that! Are you talking about the promotional flyer for the toy?  . . There has to be high res/digital image of this. At least the PDF for official instructions for DX Voltes from Bandai (I've looked but can't seem to find any)  |

Looks like most of the members got a piece of the DX since the post has been quiet lately. I don’t think anyone in North America has received their unit from AmiAmi yet, correct? Or did everyone here cancel? I canned. Went with Jeff Bezos Canada. |

Hey guys. Here's my DX Voltes Unboxing. You've probably seen fifty of these by now, so if you want to skip to the good part where I edit in all the different modes and poses, it starts at 8:55. The figure is awesome. But unfortunately I must report factory surface scratches to the blue plastic arms, legs and red chest piece that are apparent in HD closeups. Did anyone else experience this? I'm thrilled to have this figure, as it's come to my attention that the BBTS is paying $850+ to buy stock on eBay to fill orders. But mine is not the Mercedes-Benz quality I expect from Bandai DX.... So BBTS pay ebay scalper prices to fill their orders due to them overcommitting? Wouldn't it be smarter just to cancel the orders from a business perspective? Unless BBTS pass on the cost to the customer? |

Did they come up with an alternative method to ship them out elsewhere given the restrictions in other countries?

And they have insurance to cover such emergencies. |

I read in their email details that when it ships via surface mail, they will not be sending any type of communication or email notifications when it ships. They will only contact us once they have tracking that it has arrived at the destination country. Here is the copy & paste from my latest email from them: " Hello,
Unfortunately due to size of the item FIGURE-060560 DX Soul of Chogokin VOLT IN BOX Choudenji Machine Voltes V(Pre-order)(Single Shipment), it cannot be shipped by DHL.
The order will be confirmed for Surface Mail Premium automatically in the upcoming week(s) if no changes are requested.
Please note after the order is confirmed for Surface Mail Premium that it may take one month or more to prepare the shipment due to volume of parcels being updated. Then after it ships from our store, the order will take another one or two months for delivery.
The package cannot be tracked while being transported from Japan to the USA.
For this reason, no shipping notification email will be sent after the order is shipped from our store.
You will receive a shipping notification email only AFTER the order reaches the USA, with a tracking number that you use on the USPS website.
If you have any other questions, please let us know." I've gotten such a bad taste/experience with this whole Amiami/EMS/DX Voltes V thing. I know technically it's not Amiami's fault for the delay and that it's really on EMS, but Amiami made no type of options available to help those of us who ordered from them. 1. They initially say they can't ship via EMS, but ask me to reply back and notify them if I would like to make alternate arrangements for shipping via DHL shipping. (This is incorrect as DHL does not allow shipments with batteries.) 2. I get the reply back that DHL is not possible. What a tease. 3. For those of us who requested Surface Mail alternatively to EMS/DHL, they say they can't ship it via Surface Mail and we are stuck waiting indefinitely until EMS allows shipping again to certain countries like the USA. 4. Then almost 2 months later, we get the email notification that they will ship via Surface Mail, but with no tracking. 5. There is no type of reimbursement for the shipping cost difference between EMS vs Surface Mail. I would have gladly accepted some type of viable option like if they offered to remove the battery with our consent, then they could ship it via DHL. I guess those of us who ordered from them who live in the states should expect to receive DX Voltes V between May or June. |

Yes , with surface parcel (premium) , take 3-4 month to delivered, for 1st month there will be no tracking available, after arrives in custom clearance in US will be appears as parcel in USPS |
