93500 Yen after taxes not sure how much will it cost to get it shipped. But still a nice price point to own DX Voltes V at this stage. Or are the fans leaning towards the new 14" Voltron from Blitzway? |

Shipping will be at least 10000yen if not more for a box that big.
DHL charges a lot for large boxes, usually more than EMS and other carriers, from my own experience.
I am curious though if they will run into same issue with the batteries (AmiAmi couldn't ship via DHL due to the batteries).
And I don't think Mandarake offers Surface as an option.

Hello people
I recently got this amazing figure, it’s just jaw dropping, and now since I have all of the DX SOC releases I can tell you this, the DX SOC Voltes V is the 2nd best DX SOC figure, right after the DX SOC Mazinger Z
The packaging is not as premium as the DX SOC Combattler V, but that doesn’t mean it’s cheap or a step down, for me I like it, I found it unique in its own way
Bandai learned a lot from the mistakes they did in the DX Combattler V First the battery location is not as annoying, it’s easier to reach and to install the batteries The articulations is waaaaay better especially in the legs, they added a bit of movement in the side skirts to allow that also the joints in the hips could move much better
I also found the DX SOC Voltes V kinda bulkier than the DX SOC Combattler V, especially in the chest
This is the type of figure that will make you love the robot even more, it’s the BEST Voltes V ever made
I know its expensive but its worth it, and this is a point im trying to make There’s an expensive figure that definitely worth it And an overpriced figure that make me scratch my head why they asking so much for this ?
Two things I didn’t like about the figure (not a deal breaker) The LEDs in the eyes, they should stay on for longer, also they should be brighter The base sound (volume) is no as loud as it should

you guys are mean lol yes i recently got it, thanks to my good friend voltes we need more guys like him in this community im really in love it with this figure, like i said its the type of figure that will give you a positive energy boost for days the DX Voltes was the last figure i needed from last year release, so now im up to date |

whats the deal with this trend ? some collectors i know dont open stuff (even for a check up) they just keep it in box for a very long time
you are in for a good time man, the enjoyment of unboxing this is very similar to combattler v but putting the robot together is x10 times better, the batteries location is much easier
i would say save it for a bad day lol

Haha! I was one of the few who got it super late from the Amiami shipping debacle. I know it's bad that I didn't even check up on it for a very long time and the risks associated with it. Been burned by that when I collected Hot Toys 1/6 figures and didn't check them for months only to find out I had a defective part (for example, an Iron Man facemask that the factory forgot to put magnets on) and it was way past the replacement coverage time from Sideshow Collectibles. I actually had a bad/long week at work this week, so this weekend is perfect to open this bad boy up. I hope and pray that I don't have any QC issues with my DX Voltes V! Let's volt in!!! |

For the longest time, that's all I did...bought it, stored it... My situation was that I never had a spot to display anything. Now that I'm in this home and was able to build in the display cabinets I had always wanted for, I've started to slowly open the robots I've acquired over the years. The new stuff I've bought that arrived, I would open pretty much right away. |
