Didn't see a thread for this so starting it off with a review for the 1S Roy. There's an upcoming 1J as well.

The Kitzconcept vf-1j came today and while it's obviously no conpetitor to the DX CHOGOKIN it looks pretty good all things considered. I know it's not a line standard but between this and seeing people's customs I wish there would at least be a special edition of the DXC with lining.

Not much love for this 1/72 Kitz Concept. It looks pretty decent and from the looks of it is solid. Probably fans are getting tired of the design? I want one but need to prioritize some stuff! Wonder how does it hold with the Mighty Bandai DX Macross?

Thanks for that review Kumastyle.com . Nice to get that comparison out of the way early. Nice little piece. As to the 1/72 scale, these almost look like a full toy version of the old kits we used to have, by Imai, and rebranded for all of us US kids under Robotech Defenders model kits. The 1/72 scale was pretty standard for a lot of the model kits, and still is. Not sure why most models fell into 1/72, & 1/144 (an aircraft model standard?? No idea.), while the toys all went to mostly 1/100, 1/55-1/60, and 1/48. The 1/72 is also the scale of the old Bandai HCM Valkyries toys, which Toynami sort of scaled up for their Masterpiece Robotechs.
