Yeah, this variant is fokking gorgeous. They all kinda are though. I haven't clicked ship from AE yet because well, it's a POL and with Xmas around the corner, I just need to make sure I'm not over-shooting my budget this month.

In general, do you guys foresee the valkyrie wings on these getting loose over time? I'm wondering if I'm just being paranoid or if the swivel will/can eventually become loose.

I haven't have any loose wings on them yet and I have not seen any post about loose wing on the VF-1.. But even if its loose in the future, you should be able to fix it easily. |

I have finally gotten my VF-1S.
I would post pics but I need to link them from another site entirely. I dunno how that would affect things as my Facebook is mostly private.
I am really loving the figure though the base jet is just too good to mess with the Striker Pack. I mean the Battroid Form makes it look amazing but the base jet is just SOOOOOOOO good.

But Focker did rock a Strike Pack in DYRL. |

Later after Hikaru inherits Focker's 1S, it gets outfitted with Super Parts starting in episode 24, where Max meets Milia in the arcade and duels it out with her in game. |

Fast pack on...fits beautifully and the clicks are just so satisfying. Worth it.  With my Xmas bills paid, I've also had AE ship my PoL...so, the fokking Fokker will be finally on his fokking way over along with the green-colored DX Valk too. |

How come there's a sudden splurge of DX Roy on ebay? Overstock perhaps? But the price aint cheap. sigh!

How come there's a sudden splurge of DX Roy on ebay? Overstock perhaps? But the price aint cheap. sigh! From what I heard in some HK toy shop podcast, Bandai actually made more of Focker 1S, considering it being the most popular and sort after VF-1 of all. Shops got more quota and stock for it than normal, and even had a 2nd batch shipment instead of just one. If you search around, there are quite a few at US$303-307 listings on ebay with free DHL/FedEx shipping. Amazon Japan marketplace also have some at 25000yen (though won't ship overseas). The only thing that hurts on ebay is the additional tax. Otherwise US$303 shipped is actually not that bad. Considering it is close to impossible to get one at retail 19800yen, and most shops charge a lot for DHL, you are at least looking at $250-260 shipped if you got super lucky. $50 above retail is not that outrageous for the rest of us mortal humans that can't F5 fast enough. But an additional $25 ebay tax on top made the deal less appealing. |
