Can anyone recommend where to get the DX 1s at a reasonable price? Saw on ebay @ US$ 308.66 shipped. Is that reasonable? TiA Adding tax to ebay, Mandarake might be a tad bit cheaper, depending on how much they charge you shipping. But paying around $300-ish shipped is kind of the norm now. I recently bought a MP-30 Ratchet from Mandarake, only cost around $20 DHL shipping. But that box is like half the size of the VF-1S box, and about a couple inches thinner. So shipping for VF-1S can be quite a bit more. The DHL cost seem to grow exponentially as the size gets larger. |

I got mine on eBay for $299 shipped to Florida. That was the best price I found before and after buying.

I try to always keep my Chogokin boxes in clean dry places. I even do the butter knife trick to open to the flap doesn’t get wrinkled. |

i feel like an idiot for taking this figure instead of the Voltes DX if i only knew the focker would be this available i wont jump on it as fast

And frankly, I think the Fokker is a fokking amazing toy. You are just caught in the hype of the Voltes, IMO. It's basically a remold of the Combattler which you probably own, right? FWIW, stay patient. You'll get a Voltes V...people who own 23498732142137 versions will realize well, they need the money and/or they lost interest in hoarding that many. That, or Bandai issues more and/or reissue. Continue to routinely look on Amazon Japan, Mandarake, Jungle Toys, and other vendors for inventory. Put this way, as a casual watch collector, this is not a stainless steel Rolex Daytona or a Patek Nautilus. It's a d**n action figure. You will get one. |
