yeah. once you miss the preorder date and some of the reopening , it's best to just to wait it out near release date. Right now the price is Hot, but it gets cooler near release and there's always the chance of more opening from extra stock or billing issues.

It's a general release item so, I would suspect with most past cases, we'll have more slots open up in PO and/or when the item releases, we should be able to procure one for a decent price. Right now, the scalping prices are almost double and frankly, that's ridiculous for something MSRPing at 18,000JPY. I think that's partly why I have been very lukewarm on Macross releases the past few years, even though it was my top favorite franchise. Its always a fight to get a PO in, or keep on searching when missed the POs. While money is not a big concern, giving in to scalpers don't feel right either. So in the end, I ended up just sitting out most of the stuff. Got lucky with the DX 1J, but didn't bother to put up a fight for the rest. Only get it if it is convenient. Not to mention I still have my Yamatos... |

but no worries i had the same situation with Cross Bone but i was able to get one on the release date
i got the Super part set tho lol

I really just wanted one of the classic Valkyries for my collection as Squad building is a bit hard with these guys. |

I hope that you are able to get one SRP or near SRP - Macross are a different beast in acquiring one in SRP or near SRP than Gundams because of the whole Harmony Gold license fiasco. They are very limited as alot of western stores barely carry this products. |

I visited HLJ randomly and it happened to be the right time this time. Confirmation email received. Grateful to get my Roy 1S when it got cartjacked the last time I had it in HLJ.  |

Yeah, I was unable to add it to my cart even though the button was available. On Chrome too.
Not meant to be still. But, shows that more inventory frees up...
Glad some of you guys were able to get in a PO with HLJ. Good price! No mark-up.

Hey guys. A bit off topic but I seriously need some help here. Back in Jun 2019, I pre-ordered 2 set of SUPER DIMENSION FORTRESS MACROSS - DX CHOGOKIN MOVIE VF-1 STRIKE / SUPER PARTS SET from NY. It was for the 2nd release run so NY told me the release date for it would be April 2020. Now it's almost Aug 2020, but NY still have not shipped the sets to me. The item shows OOS at their website. I sent inquires asking them whether they have the stock and where they will ship, but they never replied back. I paid 21300 yen total shipping include for this order, so it's not a small amount. I contacted PayPal, and PayPal told me since the original purchase was made more than 1 year ago, I cannot create a dispute. Is emailing NY the only way for me at this moment? I was thinking calling my credit card company to do a charge back for it, but I'm worried I will lose my PayPal account.

Submit a ticket through their website. Don’t email them. They don’t reply emails, but they do respond to tickets, though slowly.

All japanpost Air service is for USA still suspended (EMS,AIR, SAL) If you are in the USA then your only option for shipping out to the USA from Nippon-Yassan is upgrading to "UPS" by paying extra or downgrade to Ferry and they will give you Nippon-yassan credit for the difference. You should submit new ticket with the special title "Change Shipping Method". And then request which shipping service you would like to switch to. UPS or Ferry . Here is a photo of N-Y's shipping pricing for the 2 of the TV super parts so I think it should be the same as 2 strikeparts. This will give you a good idea of how much extra you will need to pay for UPS or how much credit you will get back for Ferry.  |

I had an issue with inventory awhile back and ended up having to sic my CC company after them which was the only way for me to get my $$$ back. I would suggest you make a call if it's worth waiting or just cut your losses and find another vendor. If the latter, go with your CC company and explain what is happening and get them to get the refund issued for you. |

Supposedly they have someone actively checking ticket with this title due to all the suspensions. Since you originally already selected Ferry. you can pretend you forgotten about it ,since you really only wanted their attention to look at your order.  Tell them that you just notice that EMS and AIR shipping is suspended for the USA and that you would like to change your order to Ferry so that they can ship it out sooner. This way they will at least take a extra look at your order. Wait and see if they will reply before proceeding to CC. Japan National Holiday: Thursday, July 23 to Sunday, July 26. so expect longer wait period for reply. |
