Surprised no one is talking about this ridiculously priced special material Gundam kit. But, I think we should create a thread for posterity, and maybe one of the high roller Gundam collectors can someday share their experience/feelings about this kit with us. 1/144 scale

Pretty sure it's 99.9% of all titanium and aluminum. Yttria probably only used as coating to prevent rust or corrosive effect.

It is quite interesting, but not sure who the audience is for this one. 1/144 is quite small, and isn't Gundarium a made up material? As cool as an experimental real life version of such material is used, it doesn't seem to be a big draw on an otherwise very simple kit. And LOL you have to cut your own sprue for a $2250 kit. It is not hard for one to decide if they want a Metal Structure Nu (with double Fin Funnels, and still get some change), or this. On the other hand, getting one of these and make a really nice Youtube video demonstrating how 'indestructable' this Gundarium is, might go viral enough to earn your money back. The website said Zion's Zaku only use inferior 'Super Hard Steel' to build. Does that mean if there is a following up Zaku figure for this line, it will only cost a couple hundred?
