I wish it has a better wing design, the wing look odd with the rest of the body. Other than this, it looks good to me.

It's different but not bad, it's one of those figures that looks way better in an extreme action pose then your static standing pose.

At this point it's clear that this is their signature style, for better or worse.
Gurren Lagann was stylized but not infinitism same with Zero was a mix between their style and source accurate
Shin have a huge inspiration from the infinity style, not saying its bad but the face is a rework
after some thinking i guess i will wait for reviews before i pull the trigger

im disappointed, they went with the Infinity style not the original, dont get me wrong its still a good looking figure and im sure its full of gimmicks but the sculpt need a bit of working especially in the face i dont think it will beat either the EX Gokin or Sentinel, i will place it temporary in the 3rd place until i get it in hands At this point it's clear that this is their signature style, for better or worse. Yeah funny enough it works for Zero & hoping to see there Great Mazinkaiser hopefully the Mazinger stuff is good the Getter leave a lot to be desired in all honesty & the face sculpt give off a neanderthal look lol |

Yeah, I am not too fond of the Shin 1 sculpt before, and the color prototype didn't change my mind. Given, it is not all bad. The overall proportion is nice. Not too fond of the pointy chest, and especially the head. And the "infinitism" on this one is a bit overboard, making it way too noisy looking on the otherwise pretty smooth simple curvy shapes. Gurren & Zero has a bunch of blocky hard edges, so it looks more natural with those panels. And even then, I don't think they get as much as Shin 1. All the red areas (chest, lower arms, lower legs) look like cracked egg.  The far shots look better when you mainly just see the proportions and the action poses, because the proportions are pretty nice. Nice LED gimmick too, though wonder how long the batteries will last on this one.  Riobot Shin Getter 1, regardless the QC on some, still look the best stylized Shin Getter 1 IMHO. |

It looks like the went an extra mile in the stylize department to set them apart from the riobot Shin getter. It's not bad, and with bandai releasing a screen accurate one it is a nice move. Too bad I still prefer the riobot one, but I love what they did with the wings. It will probably a very good figure, just not my cup of tea (still waiting for a modern gokin Neo getter)

Robo Duo ThreeZero also has that problem. Face is very important. Hope CCS can rework it before the release.

Wow...$400?! Is CCS Toys trying to price themselves out of the "most gokin for the buck" award? Zero was only $250 shipped, and mine was from ShowZ back then as well. Almost seems like they got greedy after seeing Zero sold well. I can see Shin Getter 1 being $300-320. But a $150 hike on the same toyline same sized figure is a bit too much.  |

why the price of Shin Getter is almost double of the price of Shin Zero ? man i got both Gurren Lagann and Zero for less than the asking price of Shin Getter 1 !?
im not sure of this figure worth $400, i understand they put alot into it but 400 is too much on this honestly, its not a combiner and its only 24cm
