Question (if you know): What's going on with MakeToys and FansToys? They seem to have really slowed down overall. Both used to be "benchmarks" but just seem to be not churning out stuff anymore?

- Yea... I honestly don't buy anything that isn't 3rd party anymore. I'm like a reverse TF collector at this point.

- MakeToys is definitely slowing down. They're still doing everything they have planned but it's being done more as a labor of love now on the side of other projects.

- FansToys I really don't know. I'm not huge on the G1 cartoon aesthetic so could never get into their stuff since they were so slavish to that animation. Since I don't have interest in their products I never really followed news about them either. I remember reading some time ago about Hasbro potentially stepping in against them but 99.99999% of the time people state that about Hasbro it's a lie.

Yeah, I can relate as I've had more 3rd-party purchases of TF over the years than official Takara-Tomy (and no thanks to Hasbro) issues except for some Masterpieces.
