this is really amazing, another good looking Voltron
what i like the most about it, is they found a simple yet a cool way to hide the lions legs, i really hope the articulation is as good as the SOC
i really really hope they dont overprice it

It is cool to see Carbotix literally saying this with these videos: "Bandai, I am going to beat your ass!" Unfortunately, it may have come a little too late, as GX-71 reissues already filled most people's appetite on the 'ultimate Voltron gokin'. People will still buy this, but only for the more hardcore fans with money to spare.

Gota give a hand to Blitzway. Because of them am ignoring every Bandai preorder for this beast. Everyone is rushing for GX-100 while I am here sipping my tea and waiting for this beauty to drop. Knowing them it’s going to be expensive but it’s we’ll be so worth it.

Sweet spot would have been after the GX-71 release, but before the 1st reissue. It would have presented a dilemma of choosing between the SOC or this, with this having the upper hand of improving on the GX-71 design, while being available to preorder when GX-71 aftermarket price was skyrocketing. It would greatly boost the sales and reputation of Carbotix line. Too bad.

Yep. I can Imagine how Typhoon KIm (The principal at 5pro/Blitzway) would feel about this release. The poor guy works so hard….

alot of people thinks this will dethrone the GX71 as the best Voltron figure
i would like to wait and see more of this before i make my mind, and to be honest i dont think the SOC will goes down this easily tho,

the Ultimate Voltron gokin, is not out there yet
dont get me wrong i love the SOC, but i want more, i want an anime accurate Voltron, starting with white paint instead of sliver, LEDs in each lion eyes AND in Voltron eyes, cool effect parts, and Pose + level of articulation

Yeah. This release would have been a nice substitute for those who couldn't get the SoC. If I knew this was coming I'd probably not have committed to Bandai's reissue.

Overall proportion, and with the legs hidden, I think Carbotix does have the upperhand over the SOC. Though there are some fine details I still like the SOC's better, like the face on some of the lions. And having the SOC in hand, the fit and finish is one of SOC's top. So Carbotix needs to bring their A game to match that. Time will tell.

Ok, after watching this video, there’s no doubt this thing beats Bandai’s Voltron for sure! Cockpits that open to reveal the mini pilots? Shoulder plugs and tails that hide inside the body during the transformation? Panels that cover the legs? Bandai just got schooled!

In my opinion this one will beat the soc. But the soc is more than enough for me. This one is too big... besides all my combiners are in soc scale. That being said, this one will be the holy grail of voltron fans.

My price guesstimate keeps going up and up. I was initially thinking under $450 but if this thing has as much diecast as SOC... greengetterguy might be right after all.

i would say lets not give them an idea about the price or what they should ask for it,
its exactly like telling a mechanic "oh im sure this will cost alot" the mechanic will overcharge you since talked loudly lol
if they priced it right i will try my best to get, if not then at the end i got the SOC + 6 others voltron figures
worth to say i hope the price is just right
