I got the Blowsperior Yellow Type in today, I'll tell you guys this-
IT'S NOT WORTH THE PRICE ($55-60).
This toy should be at most, $25-30.
I ordered one from Japan, so the box does NOT have the Toynami or Harmony Gold logos.
If you have the Toynami version, please check if there is any diecast/differences.
I knew it was going to be 3" small, so that's not the issue.
CONS:
From first impression, you get a box almost the size of Riobot Mospeada box but it feels super light in hand.
When you open it, you realize they could've used a box 1/3 the size.
The plastic quality reminds me of toys from 30 years ago.
It comes with a lot of accessories but most of it is for the display stand.
Requires part swapping of bike engine and head and torso of rider (this is not a big deal for the size).
Once you transform it into armor mode, the proportions are terrible.
The wheels stick out very far, and the tail of the motorcycle stick out very far on the back, it's just ugly.
It's mostly unpainted blue plastic (assuming Stick and Ray types will be unpainted green plastic).
PROS:
Diecast parts include the feet, and the hinge joint part that connects to the arms that hold the wheels (not the whole arm, just the hinge joint).
The parts that are painted are nice and sharp. Even the small face of the figure, the eyes are clear and defined.
Does come with add-ons like the storage packs for the bike, but they do not open/close.
Comes with 2 gun accessories.
Comes with 3 sets of hands: fists, open, and holding hands.
VERDICT:
2/5. Because I love Mospeada, I don't mind adding more figures to the collection, but nothing about this is outstanding. Feels cheap, has wonky proportions from side and back angles. I would only recommend this to big fans of Mospeada/Robotech. If it was on sale at 50% off I would consider buying the Stick/Ray versions.
