I lost interest in microman lately since they seem to be either putting out things I'm not aesthetically interested in (road spartans, magneforce, street figher, aliens) or else repeating themselves, (the latest acroyear and microsisters line kind of look like the previous ones) but the Kiguru are pretty impressive - nice face sculptures, and cool colour schemes and chest logos.

Well kind of got into them again this year. I do agree some of the lines were ok.. or could have been pushed futher. I think the microsisters seem to be better sculpted.. but I havn't gotten any of those.
Yeah I like the Kiguru line.. just wish they weren't so pricey.

Actually most of the kigurus I'd prefer without the monsters - just because they'd be cheaper! Also one godlzilla is enough for me!
I like microsisters too, but for me they're mostly repetitions of earlier figures like Acro Elsa and Acro Plana. Kind of like you had Skymaster Hayate, and then something really similar with the Zero One exclusive and then Falcon. THey're all col figures, but it's the same thing. The Acroyear EXO is really weak to my eyes, except for the emperor who has lots of breakage issues.

Those Gameras are so similar. Did they run out of characters?
I actually got to see some of the first series Microman Godzilla figures in the flesh at the last Memorabilia event. Nobody imports Microman to the UK much due to the lack of interest here, so it’s very rare for me to get to see them up close; usually I’m buying Microman internationally on the strength of pictures. These were on a stall of mostly Godzilla related stuff, so they were there for their Godzillaness rather than their Micromanity. I didn’t get any, but the Godzilla one on his own looked nice. The idea of a rubber figure with a very poseable hard plastic armature is a good one, but do they really hold the pose? If not, then they are little better than a cheap rubber Godzilla when on display. I’ve already heard here on RJ about how hard they are to get in and out of the costumes. They had the Ghidorah one too, and as I suspected, he’s a big hollow thing that you just bung a Microman inside. The inner figure will only provide articulation to the legs; I can’t imagine the arms somehow work the heads. But please let me know if I’m wrong.
