Chogokin version is very similar to MB.

Prologue episode. Surprisingly serious even though the mecha designs look too goofy/cute. Kind of interested to check out the series after watching this.

How do you guys feel about the Gundam design?

I like it. Already Pre ordered the chogokin version. I get some G reco vibes, with an astray chest area and some barbatos proportions... it is a very unique gundam. Love what they did with the shield/funnels. Its nothing new but it is nicely integrated with the design. I'm hoping it get updates in the form of back packs as G self Gundam...

Don't like it. Too cute, with too much exaggerated features and proportions (big eyes, tiny chin, skinny waist, thunder thighs), and too much borrowed elements of other non-UC timeline designs all mixed in. Comes off a bit of a mismatch on a seemingly pretty serious war story, even if it is a female centric story. Give it a slightly different color treatment, you can be convinced Sailor Moon is piloting this.

But I am curious about the show. The prologue shows good potential.

Design is growing on me. Initially nothing in the design was remotely Gundam except the V-fin and the color scheme. But the more I look at it the more I like it. I never grew to like the Turn-A... but the G-Self grew on me over time- and I like this Gundam Aerial better than the G-Self design already. I might like it even more after watching the show.
