If the EX version was suppose to be an exclusive, then that exclusive period must've been very short lived. Both the regular and EX versions are widely available for pre-order at several places. Quite possible EX is exclusive (still is currently), but only in Asian countries (Japan, HK...etc.). US got the exclusives marketed as regular release somehow, but this is not the first time. If I remember correctly, one or two of the SOC Tamashii Exclusives ended up available on Entertainment Earth and Amazon US not too long ago. All of them are being sold as regular releases lately (getter d2, getter go raiser, daitetsujin 18, even other bandai releases like sh mecha godzilla 2021), but this one wil be a first time for Sentinel. Anyway, it is great everyone could get the EX for a good price |

Looks like Sentinel is invested in Linebarrels for upcoming Riobot releases

Damm, they are cool, my only complaint is that its wont scale well with their ZOE, Knight of sidonia or SRW stuff. Weird they decided to go big with this guys...

Man, I told myself I will stop getting repaints of figures I already own. I already paid off the white version. That black one would looks great standing next to the white one. Both would look great in a case contrasting each other aesthetically. Very temping.

Got the Ex one from Amazon on sale - seems to be binning everywhere, unsurprisingly (how many fans are there willing to drop $400-600 on this thing?). Box unfortunately came with a huge hole in the front, but the toy itself seems quite nice (and bigger than I thought) from a quick inspection.

I bought it full price back then, but still not opened yet in my storage. Big box. From reviews I watched, it seems like a decent release, but not one of the "Sentinel's greats" like their Shin Getter Dragon, GL, or King J-Der that are bringing new standards to the table. Just a 'good enough' release that looks good. Adding the EX armor almost bring the articulation to zero, but looks so darn good with it. |

I thought impressions in general on the base figure were good.
This release was somewhat tempting, especially at the low prices it hit later, but I'm not attached to the IP or design enough to pull the trigger.

Serves me right for not clicking on the link. Then that's actually a great price. It turns the figure into a statue but it might still be a good display option, plus you get that club. I think the cheapest I ever saw it before was around $300. |
