Albegas' chance might be quite slim, since Action Toys already making one, and POSE+ seem to be related to them (either some partnership or sister companies, since Ah Lu, the main POSE+ toy designer in those videos, actually designed some of the Action Toys Machine Robo releases, and brought in Action Toys prototypes in their POSE+ interview/showcases before). Unless Action Toys is scrapping the DX Albegas release, not likely POSE+ will make one, even though it ranks no.1.
Daimos can be a good candidate, as long as they don't mind Bandai already made 2 of those. But a good release to let POSE+ showcase their ability to beat Bandai's both releases easily.
Borgman is quite popular in HK. I used to watch it on their TV channel when young. There are so few Borgman products out there, I wouldn't be surprised that POSE+ would take on this series. I would be onboard with that!

Sad to see that Dangaioh is nowhere to be found on that list, guess it isn't popular at all in HK since it was an OVA?

I'm also sad to see Dangaioh wasn't on the list. Really hoping pose+ or good smile company give it a try(good smile did a pretty good model kit).

Thanks S_Gokin for translating the title, as my Chinese is not up to par and don't know the equivalent these titles in their Chinese forms. Some items on this list is very obscure. Looking at this list, Pose+ is interested in producing figures that transforms (and or combines) and or change shape. The second priority is that a figure can strike the key poses in the anime.
It was interesting when they were discussing the SOC Daimos that they felt that there were some compromise that detracted from the space truck aesthetics. And also that once transformed the figure looks like it is wearing the trailer on its back. And finally it cannot strike the cool poses from the anime. These are difficult challenges to overcome if they decide to make their own version.
I am very interested in the option parts for Gowappa.
Base on what they try to do (complex) and how nostalgic(limited audience), I can understand why their items are priced so high.

Very interesting... They did Gordam and AT was doing one too (I remember them talking at toys tv I think) so its not crazy that they decide to do an arbegas... Must from that list: Arbegas, Gordam with the set (hopefully they will release a complete set) and Gakeen (only if it is around 7 inches, to scale with my SOC and other stuff) May get: raideen and laserion

i think they will either take the one that AC toys did and improve on it, or help AC with theirs and call it a day or (more likely) they will release their own next to AC i mean if you look at it not alot of companies want to touch Albegas the last decent one was an EM Gokin followed by an ET grand action
the fact that its number 1 on their list is very cool, finally we will get an insane Albegas

most welcome and thank you for taking time to share your thoughts about this
Daimos is very important for me, the SOC did a good job but by today standers its barely holding up, the FA was great but you can see they cheaped out on some details like the wheels on the back of the legs, i think Pose + is very capable on doing the perfect Daimos along with Golion

Gakeen in 7 inches it will be tough the robot is around 48M and most and the shortest figure they did was around 25.5cm Gordam, i think it will be accurate if it towers above the non combining SOC
the CMs was and still a beast for its age if you ask me

Ive trying to track the dynamite action Gakeen (I think it is a great release and the sculpt es gorgeous), but the aftermarket prices are insane... I love some ET stuff but for the right price, I cant justify paying over 300usd for it (same with their robot junior). Anyway they have a great list. Ill wait for a new gordam release. Even when Ive never heard of it before I love how that chunky beast looks

Upon finishing posting the translated listing to fill in the few S_Gokin missed, "Where is Dangaioh?" is the immediate thought that came in mind.

I don't think I'd want another lion Voltron anytime soon. If they do, I'd at least expect a Dairugger to go with it. Genesic GGG definitely especially they've started the line. Daimos yes and with a Voltes V that's not half assed like the DX. Too bad Bismarck isn't getting any attention. Transformation-wise, it's as simple as Daimos and they can maybe develop the vehicles as well. I'd like an Escaflowne too.

from what i know the ET people are the same people who were behind CM's
the Dynamite Action Gakeen is a spot on CM's version, but the paint and the sculpt are not as sharp, less metal (like waaay less), and almost no accessories like the CM's
i think Gakeen is a popular and rare robot thats why we see crazy prices, the cheapest CM's Gakeen is around $400 (used) and thats the gold color, the anime color is almost $800 there is also a rare limited color version but so crazy im not going to write the price lol

OK, finally watched the segment with the top 30 listing. NEEDS CLARIFICATION BIG TIME. See below: - The listing is a voting/poll from viewers, collectors, and fans of POSE+ products. They are not from POSE+ internally, meaning they are NOT products they are planning to make per se. Just a popularity vote among fans what they wish to see from POSE+. - Almost all GaoGaiGar related items will be a given on that list (GFG, GGGG, GekiRyuJin...etc.), as they are planning to continue the GGG releases, as long as budget allows. One particular interesting piece is King J-Der (one of my favorite on the list). So happen King J-Der is also designer Ah Lu's personal top pick. If he is making one, it will most likely be in scale with the rest of the GGG releases. But that also means it will be gigantic (TF Fort Max size). He really wants to make one, but it has to wait if the demand and budget is even possible to create such beast. Probably depending on how well the planned GGG products sells, to a point they make enough money and justifies making this 'dream' King J-Der. - Albegas fans looking forward to a POSE+ Albegas...sorry, no dice, even though it is on the very top of the list. Because the Action Toys DX Albegas is designed by none other than Ah Lu himself LOL. He even tell people to go preorder the Action Toys one instead in the video. - Godam Dragon/add-on parts was already being designed/worked on to an extent. But due to the big size and other considerations, it hasn't been fully greenlight to go into production. They are waiting to see if such release is feasible in the future. - Daimos, Ah Lu is interested to tackle, as throughout the videos, his main point of choosing product to make is "if he can find a way to improve and bring something new to the design and engineering, while giving it great articulation to fit the POSE+ theme." Daimos fall in well into that, and a good challenge to design a transformation that can also do all the kung fu poses Daimos is famous for. No promises though, but Daimos is one of the few on the list that fits the bill. - Borgman also interested Ah Lu, and he was discussing briefly with co-host Walker what size would be more appropriate. Since the Borgman gang also has the vehicle, they think 1/12 might be the best scale. He said he will think about it. - Machine Robo Devil Satan 6 is also one that he wants to make, probably to a point some planning was discussed. But due to it being a 6 robot combiner, the budget and man power involved is huge and very risky for a villain character. So it is one of the items in their backpocket that may or may not happen. - Gold Lightan team, which they already made sculpts and prototype of (displayed in some toy shows few years back as a diorama). Most likely they won't be normal individual diecast releases, but rather cheaper variation or as sets that is more for display. But even so, it looks like it is just not possible to release them, as they are put on hold indefinitely. - Popular ones like Combattler V, Voltes V, Raideen, Dancouga, Voltron...etc were just dismissed very quickly, as there are too many out there and no room for Ah Lu to come up with something new and different, other than retreading old grounds. God Mars is one of the exception, which he is interested in tackling (maybe partly because he just love the robot). I may have missed some stuff, but those are the main points I remember.

Found an extra recent interview with Ah Lu with the TCM Toys Channel. This time, he talked more about his role as the lead toy designer at POSE+, and his involvement in designing the concept of the toys at the initial stage (usually takes him a month or so), before handing it to other engineers and artists for the actual refinement of the physical form, which could take a year or longer back and forth to finish. He is not an artist himself, so he can't draw out refine sketches of the toy, even though he is involved in the aesthetics development, with the help of his coworkers. This video focused on the 3 J9 releases, with a lot of comparison and showcase of the vintage toys as well as the anime shows, sort of a "old vs new". An interesting topic was brought up, with some of the J9 mechs used to have a "real color" version and was released in either vintage toy form or plastic model kit. For example, Baxinger is entirely blue grey color with some "Gundam-like" body decals, and same goes for Baxinbird. Surprisingly, Ah Lu is very interested in releasing those variants as different colorways. Just that POSE+ don't know if such releases would work financially. The interview has a good amount of his thoughts on the shows, and some of the stories behind the development of the toys were shared (though too much to translate ). Even if you don't understand Cantonese, it is still worth checking out, especially for the anime clips and old J9 toys TV commercials.
