CCS shows no signs of slowing down. Seems like they got in on the EVA franchise as well. Threezero already has awesome EVA figures out (anime accurate, good amount of gokin, good articulation, lots of accessories), I don't know what else CCS can do to make it better.
Guess we'll find out.

They are using the designs from the new novels: evangelion anima, so they are never before released EVAs. (most of them are evolutions from the classics)

Oh wow! I hope CCS make the white mass produced white Eva ANIMA too. ( the mass produced design looks FIERCE!!)
The design is right up CCS’s alley… Wide hips, super detailed.

They are using the designs from the new novels: evangelion anima, so they are never before released EVAs. (most of them are evolutions from the classics) I believe Kaiyodo made a plastic one, might have been a Revoltech. But no gokins of the Anima EVA yet. |

I'm not familiar with Anima, but Bandai made a Super Evangelion Chogokin a while ago. I wish they made more Anima EVAs. It was a cool figure. Better than the SOCs, with a matte painjob.  It seems it's from Anima, but not the same design. |

(revoltech released recently the 02 Euro... beautiful design) |

Its a really cool release but this one is Final Eva from the Evangelion anima novels. Not the classic design so its not everyone cup of tea... I like this one better than the MB stuff though..

It looks great, with only criticism I have is the waist too short for an Eva. I am also Eva-ed out, with the 3 Metal Builds. And since this one is in completely different scale/size, and my toy budget got tighter lately, most likely it will be a pass for me. I like what they did to it, and for once not the same old Eva 1 we had gazillion iterations of. But I have less love for the franchise these days and this appeal a lot less to me now, compare to like 10-15 years ago. It will be one of the coolest Eva diecast figure in the market. I just don't have the urge to add yet another Eva into my collection. |
